It is expected to use instead of those bundled version since some ruby packages require newer version of rdoc command (especially ruby18-base). RDoc produces HTML and command-line documentation for Ruby projects. RDoc includes the +rdoc+ and +ri+ tools for generating and displaying online documentation.
