Now that pkgviews has been removed there is no longer any need for the overhead of this infrastructure. Instead we use BUILDLINK_PREFIX.pkg for dependencies pulled in via buildlink, or LOCALBASE/PREFIX where the dependency is coming from pkgsrc.
