update to version 4.4L. this fixes:

- channel_name_width==0
- missing ssize_t
- freebsd curses fixes
- nickname at starttime fixes for linux
- /window kill_others fixes
- NeXT support
and adds these features:
- socks5 support
- configure --datadir, --srcdir (objdir) support.
- find zcat/gzip/etc and use these as we can
