makeinfo commands.
The goal of the new framework is twofold:
- reduce the number of '@exec' and '@unexec' in PLIST by
using INSTALL/DEINSTALL scripts to handle entries addition/removal
Info directory file.
- achieve lighter dependencies by avoiding unnecessary run-time
dependency on the gtexinfo package and if needed with the help of the
standalone install-info command provided by the recently imported package
pkgtools/pkg_install-info.
A package must be sightly updated to use this new framework and
must define the variable USE_NEW_TEXINFO. This variable will
be removed from the pkgsrc tree when all package would have been
updated.
For details see section 10.24 of Packages.txt, comments in
mk/{texinfo.mk,buildlink2/bsd.buildlink2.mk} and upcoming mail to
<tech-pkg at netbsd dot org>.

to a mail hub. Originally from pkgsrc-wip; created by Toru TAKAMIZU
<pkg at pop dot 707 dot to>.
A secure, effective and simple way of getting mail off a system to your
mail hub. It contains no suid-binaries or other dangerous things - no mail
spool to poke around in, and no daemons running in the background. Mail is
simply forwarded to the configured mailhost. Extremely easy configuration.
WARNING: the above is all it does; it does not receive mail, expand aliases
or manage a queue. That belongs on a mail hub with a system administrator.
This program is especially recommended for mutt users who send emails via
ISP's smtp server.

followup to PR pkg/20529:
Some libraries (in this example, a given Linux's native libpthread) don't
come with a version number at all and/or are in fact symlinks. Test for
this and act accordingly in fake-la.
This allows packages that use pthread to buildlink under various Linuxen.
Should close PR pkg/20529 and PR pkg/21854. Thanks, Joachim.

Majesty is a unique sim putting you in the crushed velvet hotseat
of your own kingdom. With an epic quest before you, you make the
decisions of where to build your settlement`s guilds and temples.
Each one has a mind of its own and must be enticed to meet your
goals, via rewards you offer and spells you cast.
Meanwhile you must make sure that your treasury stays flush with
cash to support these and other outlays necessary to maintain a
thriving medieval town. The fact that you are being barraged by
attacks from mythical beasts and fantastic creatures doesn`t make
your job any easier.
This is the demo of the Linux version.

From Tom Hensel via tech-pkg and private mail.
Changes:
- new MAINTAINER, Tom Hensel
0.99.10-test14:
===============
- IMAP over SSL works now without having to install (patched) OpenSSL from
pkgsrc or patching dovecot itself. For instance, OpenSSL gets initalized
before chrooting so it can open /dev/urandom, even some possible crashes
have been fixed.
- Many changes to the Maildir synchronization and expiration code, diffrent
bugs and flaws are fixed. Improved indexing and hashing of Maildirs and
mboxes.
- Changes to improve overall perfomance have been incorparated.
- The authorization daemon now supports the ANONYMOUS SASL mechanism,
a few bugs were fixed.
- Many flaws and glitches are gone, please see dovecot's ChangeLog for
a complete list of changes.

<mike at ethmoid dot org>.
Package changes:
- the vicf script is not usable as is: patch it to make it obvious and
install it as an example.
- switch to requiring the auto* tools at build time.
- While I'm here claim stewardship (before completely removing it
from pkgsrc ?).
Changes in version 1.6.5:
- bug fixes including a security issue with link races.
- auto* tools update and commands installation directory change
(overridden by this package patch files to keep it the same as
previous versions and even cfengine 2.*)
XXX Threads support completely removed. From my humble experience it is
quite broken in cfengine 1.*. It is only used in cfd and when DCE support
is enabled: the latter is not activated in this package and if the former
really needs a performance/ability boost you should really consider
cfengine 2.*.
All in all you should not update but switch to cfengine2 package instead. ;)

an outstanding PLIST issue though.)

...
Upgraded EXT2FS and UFS support for NetBSD and
OpenBSD to handle new inode information, and the
fast UFS1 and UFS2 file systems.
With the help of Andrew Brown <atatat@atatdot.net>
determined the NetBSD snapshot (1.6F) at which
<sys/mount.h> could be included under _KERNEL, thus
eliminating the lsof netexport.h hack. The same
change applies to OpenBSD versions 3.3 and above.
...
The former change obsoletes patches ab, ac, and ad.
