C4 provides a CVS like feel to Perforce's SCM system p4. C4 is
not a substitute for CVS, in that it does not try to mimic CVS's
command set. Rather, it provides a workspace (client) where every
file is writable, and can be modified on an adhoc basis.
|
|
|
|
p4pr produces a file from the Perforce depot with each line annotated
with the change, revision, and branch from which it came. It takes
its time, but the output is invaluable.

P4Web turns your Web browser into a complete user interface to
Perforce. Now, users on Macintosh, Unix, and Windows can use P4Web's
visual graphics and links to manage their Perforce workspace
activities.

This small set of tools provides a means for importing a CVS module
into Perforce.
It was originally developed for use at Network Appliance, to convert
our product source code revision history from CVS into Perforce.
cvs2p4 tries make the resultant Perforce depot look as if the work in
CVS had been going on in Perforce.

P4D, the Perforce Server, manages the Perforce central file repository
(the "depot"), tracks Perforce user operations, and records activity
in the Perforce SCM database. You need one Perforce Server to
support all of the users in your enterprise.

P4 is a small, self-contained Perforce client program that offers
access to all Perforce SCM (software configuration management)
features through a command line. It can be used in command shells
and scripts, and is the ideal interface for automated processes
that perform SCM tasks.

And create a way to get rid of that stupid message from audit-packages!

Note: dia may crash if LC_CTYPE is unset. Setting it to
"en_US.ISO8859-1" works for me)
* in FreeType mode, dia now looks for the xfs configuration files too
to retrieve the font path.
* Polish version of the manual added
* a load-time compatibility issue with files produced by 0.88.1 was
found and fixed for some UML objects.
* we now better use the intltool facilities
* increased tolerance to broken XML files
* ER objects can have their text size changed
* a couple bugs (i18n, l10n, p9y) fixed
* from now on, all XML files produced by dia will be encoded as UTF-8.
* Metapost renderer
* Faster Postscript files.
* More options in the UML Class dialog.
* An optional menu bar can be added to each display window, in
addition to the popup menu.
* All RenderObjects have been replaced by equivalent shapes, and
RenderObject support code removed.
* All Lazyprop objects have been converted to Standard Properties
instead. Lazyprop support code removed.
* lots of internal changes and cleanups in the StdProp code. This
breaks binary compatibility.
* Shapes can now have a <svg:text> element.
* polybeziers and beziergons now have their bounding box properly computed.
* a few new shapes have been added.
* crashes in the right-click menu have been nailed.

* New -A option for tmda-ofmipd to allow authentication against
checkpassword compatible programs such as checkpassword-pam
(http://checkpasswd-pam.sourceforge.net/).
* New -C option for tmda-ofmipd to set a limit on the number of
simultaneous connections. Default is 20.
* tmda-ofmipd general bugfixes and security improvements.
* New config variable, `X_TMDA_IN_SUBJECT' which turns on parsing of
the Subject header for X-TMDA override actions. See description in
Defaults.py for more information.
* New config variable, `ADDED_HEADERS_SERVER' which allows you to add
arbitrary headers to all server-sent (i.e, tmda-filter) messages.
* Josh Huber's tmda.el, an elisp module for integrating TMDA with Gnus
and Message mode, has been added to the contrib directory. This is
super-cool, Jason sez check it out!
* Major improvements to the filter file language, courtesy of Tim,
including:
- The addition of "macro" definition and expansion.
- The addition of variable interpolation.
- A new argument, `-optional', for all rules that access files.
- Support for nested filter files with the 'include' statement.
For more information on these new features, see the updated TMDA
Filter Specification (http://tmda.net/config-filter.html).
* Logging capability for client-side message (i.e, those sent with
tmda-sendmail). Set LOGFILE_OUTGOING in your config to enable this.
* New version of tmda.el.
* Fixed a bug which prevented the `from/to-mailman' filter sources
from working.

The Text-Mode RealMedia Player (TRPlayer) is a RealMedia player for
Linux with a command-line interface. It can play (streaming) RealAudio,
RealVideo, MP3, and all other media types supported by RealPlayer 8
under Linux. TRPlayer was designed especially for blind Unix users, who
don't yet have access to the graphical user interface. However, it is
also useful to others; it is a good tool for background audio playback
and for use on low-end hardware.

0.213 Sat Jul 27 21:16:30 CEST 2002
- fixed another buffer overflow, also added a santity check to fgets.
0.212 Sat Apr 6 03:52:13 CEST 2002
- fix yEnc decoding support.
- new option OPT_DOTDOT, that makes uulib unescape dot-escaping.
- increased linelength to 1195.
0.211 Fri Apr 5 23:56:46 CEST 2002
- *sigh*. new version of uulib, new braindamaged buffer overflows.
I would not use this code in a virus-scanner, despite my efforts
to fix uulib. Diffs like "line length 256 => 300" should have
alerted me...
0.21 Sun Mar 31 22:06:05 CEST 2002
- bumped uulib from 0.5.15 to 0.5.17 (adds some yEnc support, YENC_ENCOD
ED).
- source-renamed FP_*-symbols to _FP_* again, but still define them
to be FP_* in the object file.
- new callback: SetFileNameCallback (actually documented ;)
|
|
Changes since 0.5.17:
- fix for yEnc files in UUInfoFile
- patch by Matthew Mueller:
- add CRC generation and checks for yEnc
- accept yEnc files where the tab character is not escaped
- improved error checking for yEnc files
