- added missing checksum for the distribution file - put back GCOS_HACK define (it was removed from patch-cb) - do not include mhn.defaults in the PLIST to keep protecting it from upgrades in case it has local modifications - install mhn.defaults.dist from the "files" directory instead of using a dynamically generated one (this was the intention always) - mhn.defaults and mts.conf get installed if they don't exist; new users do not have to worry about copying *.dist files now - added comments about the configuration file philosophy in Makefile

Gwave is a viewer for spice-like simulator output and other analog data Gwave can read several file formats. It attempts to guess file formats based on filename, and then tries all file formats until one succedes. These file formats are known: CAzM transient output (*.[BNW]) HSPICE binary and ascii formats (*.tr0, *.sw0, *.ac0) Spice2 and Spice3 "raw" output (*.raw) An ascii format with whitespace-seperated columns and column headings, such as that produced by ACS (Al's circuit simulator). (*.acs, *.asc, *.ascii) The "Export Postscript" and "Export PNM" options on the main File menu provide the rudiments of output for inclusion in other documentation. They and simply write out files called gwave_out.ps and gwave_out.pnm into the current directory. In the future, a dialog box will allow configuring the print and export output.

It quotes all HTML tag parameters, and uses ";" instead of "&" as parameter separator in URLs for next pages. Justin and Caolan have fixed things so that tabstops, breaks, unicode conversion, page break before, widow/orphan control are all imported successfully now. RTF importer. Now handles negative values for margin-left and text-indent. Minor file format change. Error propagation. Unix stuff. By popular request, libstdc++ is no longer required. (We never really needed it anyhow.) PostScript emissions now use signed characters, as suggested by Bob Monaghan <bob@sbst.com>. With the latest fonts.dir, Symbol fonts should print properly now, too. First support for GNOME. Spelling speedup. The interactive spell check logic is now fast and smart like it should be, instead of woefully poky and dumb like it used to be. Subscript and superscript. View ruler. Stephen Hack <shack@uiuc.edu> implemented this menu item so that you can hide or show the ruler on a per-window basis. Compressed AbiWord files. The AbiWord file format (*.abw) was designed from the get-go to be a highly-readable form of XML. However, for those of you who care more about bloat than legibility, Richard Jefts <babs@cs.jhu.edu> added import/export logic for a gzip-compressed variant (*.zabw). Options dialog started. Zoom and Paragraph dialogs. Justification. Clipboard improvements. More Unicode-friendly. Smarter preferences.
