by former MAINTAINER Rui-Xiang Guo (rxg at ms25 dot url dot com dot tw).
Some modifications by me to adjust patches (which were for 4.4.6) to 4.4.7.
Changes from 4.4.6 to 4.4.7:
-Changed to a new method of detection pseudotty type, works well on more
platforms including CygWin32.
-IVES command line viewer and editor has been renamed. 'vs' to 'iview', 'es' to
'iedit'. This was made becouse older names conflict with another applications.
-New image library for using with IVES. Now XNC can view the following image
formats:
* GIF
* JPG (with external or built in libjpeg)
* PNG (with external or built in libpng)
* TIF (with external libtiff)
* BMP
* PCX
* PNM
* PCD
* LBM
* XPM
-Fixed bug in running UPGRADE/INSTALL inside RPM archives.
-Fixed legal issues, added some copyrights
-Small bug fixes, as usual. Thanks to all who reported.
Changes from 4.4.5 to 4.4.6:
-Added new program 'xncloader' for faster xnc starting up.
-Fixed bug with wrong display rxvt terminal contents.
-Fixed small bug in FTP vfs.
Set MAINTAINER to myself as Riu no longer uses this pkg. If there are any
volunteers who wish to take over, please feel free to change this.

Changes since snes9x-1.37.3 include:
- Fixed a timing problem caused by a speed up hack that was affecting Top Gear
3000. No the game still isn't playable, but I noticed the problem while
investigating the DSP-4 chip used by the game.
- Added support for Star Ocean and Street Fighter 2 Alpha decompressed graphics
packs from dejap. Used a binary chop search rather than a linear search to
locate correct decompressed graphics more quickly - should help emulation
speed during later stages of the game.
- Included the latest ZSNES DSP-1 code. Now Pilotwings, SD Racer and Suzuka 8
Hours are playable. Aim For The Ace, Super Air Diver 1 & 2 and Syutoko
Battle 94 are also playable, but with bugs. Thanks to zsKnight, _demo_, et
al for all their hard work.
- Another Daffy Duck: Marvin Missions screen flicker problem worked around -
writing to the IRQ enable register shouldn't clear any pending IRQs, but
Sieken 3 seems to require this or else the game hangs. Special-cased Daffy
Duck for now.
- An NMI emulation bug was triggering a Panic Bomberman World game bug,
crashing it. Basically, if a game enables NMIs after the normal trigger
point, the NMI should not trigger if the game has already read the NMI clear
register.
- Panic Bomberman World requires SPC700 memory to be initialised to zero on
reset otherwise the game hangs when a tune finishes and another one should
start.
- Added an offset hack for Strike Gunner to get the scrolling ground layer
to line up correctly - another offset-per-tile bug hacked around for now.
- Hmm. The broken cut-scenes in Deep Space 9 seem to indicate that I haven't
got the emulated clock speed of the 65c816 CPU correct yet. And not by a
little bit - a 9% too slow error. Hacked special timing for the game for now.
- Fixed another crash bug in the interpolated mode 7 code - if no scaling
was being used (either up or down) and screen repeat was enabled and the
screen was flipped horizontally, the routine would crash Snes9x. Was causing
Snes9x to crash during rock monster boss stage of Castlevania 4.
- Oops. Got the initialisation of the default SNES screen width and height
round the wrong way - could cause a X Windows System error message on the
UNIX port after loading a ZSNES freeze file.
The package has been changed to use the oss sound instead of the sun
sound driver. This improves the sound quality.

Gnome clickomania, or glickomania, is a simple, but dangerously
addictive puzzle. The objective is to clear the board of all tiles
by removing groups of identical adjacent tiles. Tiles fall downwards
to fill empty gaps, and from right to left to fill empty columns.
A slight variation of clickomania is known as "the same game" and
it has been implemented in KDE (ksame), Gnome (gsame), and most
handhelds. The most significant difference is in the scoring: in
clickomania the goal is to clear the board, whereas in "same" the
objective is to remove as large groups as possible.
Glickomania can be very challenging, but this implementation is
designed to be relaxing: there is no clock and the user has unlimited
undo and redo. Contrary to all other implementations I know of,
glickomania ensures all problems presented to the player are indeed
solvable.

Cooledit is a full-featured text editor, for Unix computers that run
the X Window System. Cooledit was born from a need for a user
friendly text editor that would rival editors of other operating
systems in ease of use and convenience. Lately Cooledit is also a
powerful programmer's editor. It is also small and fast, making it
ideal for interface with applications that allow for, or require, an
external editor. See 'Features' in the man page for a more elaborate
description of what Cooledit can do.

This is localized message based on samba 2.2.4. Its own feature:
- Localized winbind support (though winbind isn't supported on NetBSD.)
- Japanese support for resource name: file name, share name, NetBIOS name
and NetBIOS user name.
- Machine depended character code for file and directory name.
- Japanese documents.
- Internatilnalized swat.
It also fixes security problem found on samba 2.2.3 and later which
happens with --with-tdbsam option. (It isn't enabled on default.)

Changes since 0.4:
- if text is too long to fit into the window, let it scroll
from left to right. Caveat: all XEvents are queued during
scrolling, that is, one can not cycle by hand (right
mouse-button) until this cycle is over.
- bugfix: don't overwrite what's in the config file *unless*
specified on the command line (for example geometry)
- if the weather file does not contain 'Sky conditions'
skip 'conditions' when cycling
- when using 'metric' display, show wind-speed in kmh rather
than in knots
- initialize time to update to every 10 Minutes - used to be
uninitialized unless specified using '-u'.

* Make compile on newer gcc -Wuninitialized.
* Use CONF_FILES install method.

- pgpverify now supports using GnuPG to check signatures (rather than
PGP) without the pgpgpg wrapper. GnuPG can check both old-style RSA
signatures and new OpenPGP signatures and is recommended over PGP 2.6.
If you have GnuPG installed, pgpverify will use it rather than PGP,
which means that you may have to create a new key ring for GnuPG to
use to verify signatures if you were previously using PGP.
- An item that was noted in NEWS below but was inadvertently left out of
nnrpd has actually been added this time: users can no longer post
articles containing Approved: headers to moderated groups by default;
they must be specifically given that permission with the access:
parameter in readers.conf. See the man page for more details.
- Two bugs in repacking overview index files and a reliability bug with
writing overview data were all fixed in the tradindexed overview
method, hopefully making it somewhat more reliable, particularly for
makehistory.
- If rc.news.local exists in the INN binary directory, it will be run
with the start or stop argument whenever rc.news is run. This is
available as a hook for local startup and shutdown code.
- The default history table hash sizes were increased because a
too-small value can cause serious performance problems (whereas a
too-large hash just wastes a bit of disk space).
- The sample control.ctl file has been extensively updated.
- Wildmat exclusions (@ and !) should now work properly in storage.conf
newsgroup patterns.
- The implementation of the -w flag for expireover was fixed;
previously, the value given to -w to change expireover's notion of the
current time was scaled by too much.
- Various other more minor bug fixes, standards compliance fixes, and
documentation improvements.
