2006-03-04 | Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where no | jlam | 1 | -2/+2
developer is officially maintaining the package. The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by submitting patches to the mailing list). Since the folks most likely to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't developers.
2005-12-29 | Remove USE_PKGINSTALL from pkgsrc now that mk/install/pkginstall.mk | jlam | 1 | -2/+1
automatically detects whether we want the pkginstall machinery to be used by the package Makefile.

2002-03-14 | Completely remove RSAREF2 support; had been disabled for 15 months | wiz | 2 | -29/+4
without complaints. Deinstall sample config file if unchanged.
2002-03-09 | Make it build on Darwin. | yyamano | 4 | -18/+23
* Use curses. Darwin doesn't have termcap. * Add __APPLE__ to system.h to define necessary macros. * Replace __{Free,Open,Net}BSD__ with __UNIX__ in language/language.c. It worked on *BSD, but not correct logically. XXX -no-cpp-precomp issue isn't fixed yet. I think we should fix it in XXX generic way.
2001-10-31 | Move pkg/ files into package's toplevel directory | zuntum | 2 | -1/+1
2001-09-14 | Replace gets(3) by fgets(3). Patches by Don Yuniskis in pkg/13896. | wiz | 3 | -5/+28
2001-09-09 | Deprecate NO_WRKSUBDIR, replacing it with an explicit assignment of: | agc | 1 | -2/+2
WRKSRC= ${WRKDIR} This is much cleaner, much more indicative of what happens, and removes another of the negative definitions (NO_.* = value).
2001-04-22 | re-add patch checksum (have to be made after `make extract') | wiz | 1 | -1/+9

2001-02-16 | Update to new COMMENT style: COMMENT var in Makefile instead of pkg/COMMENT. | wiz | 2 | -2/+2
2000-09-26 | Set USE_RSAREF2=NO by default. Hopefully, this will discourage people from | fredb | 1 | -1/+2
actually using rsaref, while we ponder the case for removing it completely.
2000-09-09 | Reorganize crypto handling, as discussed on tech-pkg. Remove all | fredb | 1 | -5/+2
RESTRICTED= variables that were predicated on former U.S. export regulations. Add CRYPTO=, as necessary, so it's still possible to exclude all crypto packages from a build by setting MKCRYPTO=no (but "lintpkgsrc -R" will no longer catch them). Specifically, - - All packages which set USE_SSL just lose their RESTRICTED variable, since MKCRYPTO responds to USE_SSL directly. - - realplayer7 and ns-flash keep their RESTRICTED, which is based on license terms, but also gain the CRYPTO variable. - - srp-client is now marked broken, since the distfile is evidently no longer available. On this, we're no worse off than before. [We haven't been mirroring the distfile, or testing the build!] - - isakmpd gets CRYPTO for RESTRICTED, but remains broken. - - crack loses all restrictions, as it does not evidently empower a user to utilize strong encryption (working definition: ability to encode a message that requires a secret key plus big number arithmetic to decode).
2000-08-18 | Replace MIRROR_DISTFILES and NO_CDROM with the more descriptive and | hubertf | 1 | -2/+3
more fine-grained NO_{BIN,SRC}_ON_{FTP,CDROM} definitions. MIRROR_DISTFILES and NO_CDROM are now dead.
2000-07-06 | make the USE_RSAREF2 check for the distfile match the check for the rsaref | dmcmahill | 1 | -2/+2
patch. Prevents trying to apply the patch to the wrong sources.
2000-01-05 | Strip trailing '.', and/or leading '(a|an) ' | abs | 1 | -1/+1
1999-12-16 | Update depends to rsaref 2.0p3 | abs | 1 | -2/+2
1999-05-26 | Work around rsaref's internal md5, and update rsaref dependency to "2.0p2". | tv | 2 | -2/+26
1999-05-23 | Add hpack-0.79, inspired by the FreeBSD port "hpack.non-usa.only", but | tv | 12 | -0/+263
rewritten. Allows for USA/non-USA support via the familiar USE_RSAREF2 mechanism, and significantly cleaned up. Does not attempt to fall back to $HOME/.pgp for keys as in the FreeBSD port, as other programs already require PGPPATH to be set. |
