2005-08-05pilotmgr only needs the perl binary, not the perl library.jlam1-2/+2
2005-07-19depends should be ../../<category>/<pkg>grant1-2/+2
2005-06-24Drop the perl-5.6.x package from pkgsrc. Remove lang/perl58 and updatejlam1-2/+2
lang/perl5 to perl-5.8.6nb4. Modify packages that referred to lang/perl58 to point to lang/perl5 instead.
2005-06-16Create directories before installing files into them.jlam1-1/+3
2005-06-01Massive cleanup of buildlink3.mk and builtin.mk files in pkgsrc.jlam1-2/+2
Several changes are involved since they are all interrelated. These changes affect about 1000 files. The first major change is rewriting bsd.builtin.mk as well as all of the builtin.mk files to follow the new example in bsd.builtin.mk. The loop to include all of the builtin.mk files needed by the package is moved from bsd.builtin.mk and into bsd.buildlink3.mk. bsd.builtin.mk is now included by each of the individual builtin.mk files and provides some common logic for all of the builtin.mk files. Currently, this includes the computation for whether the native or pkgsrc version of the package is preferred. This causes USE_BUILTIN.* to be correctly set when one builtin.mk file includes another. The second major change is teach the builtin.mk files to consider files under ${LOCALBASE} to be from pkgsrc-controlled packages. Most of the builtin.mk files test for the presence of built-in software by checking for the existence of certain files, e.g. <pthread.h>, and we now assume that if that file is under ${LOCALBASE}, then it must be from pkgsrc. This modification is a nod toward LOCALBASE=/usr. The exceptions to this new check are the X11 distribution packages, which are handled specially as noted below. The third major change is providing builtin.mk and version.mk files for each of the X11 distribution packages in pkgsrc. The builtin.mk file can detect whether the native X11 distribution is the same as the one provided by pkgsrc, and the version.mk file computes the version of the X11 distribution package, whether it's built-in or not. The fourth major change is that the buildlink3.mk files for X11 packages that install parts which are part of X11 distribution packages, e.g. Xpm, Xcursor, etc., now use imake to query the X11 distribution for whether the software is already provided by the X11 distribution. This is more accurate than grepping for a symbol name in the imake config files. Using imake required sprinkling various builtin-imake.mk helper files into pkgsrc directories. These files are used as input to imake since imake can't use stdin for that purpose. The fifth major change is in how packages note that they use X11. Instead of setting USE_X11, package Makefiles should now include x11.buildlink3.mk instead. This causes the X11 package buildlink3 and builtin logic to be executed at the correct place for buildlink3.mk and builtin.mk files that previously set USE_X11, and fixes packages that relied on buildlink3.mk files to implicitly note that X11 is needed. Package buildlink3.mk should also include x11.buildlink3.mk when linking against the package libraries requires also linking against the X11 libraries. Where it was obvious, redundant inclusions of x11.buildlink3.mk have been removed.
2005-05-19PERL5_PKGSRCDIR isn't defined when using the new tools framework. Replacejlam1-2/+2
it with an explicit lang/perl58 reference.
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1
2005-02-23Add RMD160 digests in addition to SHA1 ones.agc1-1/+2
2005-02-13Remove unnecessary "perl" binary detection which gets confused by thetron3-2/+67
buildlink3 framework. Also use "${WRKDIR}" instead of hard coded "/tmp" for temporary files.
2004-12-16Undo last change because "perl-thread" package has been removed.tron1-2/+2
2004-11-13Fix dependence so this can be used with the "perl-thread" package.tron1-2/+2
2004-04-11Convert to buildlink3.snj1-3/+3
2004-03-26Check Perl pre-requisites last. This way, avoid pulling in perl-5.6.xrh1-2/+2
first and then a package that might require perl-5.8.x. Should fix bulk builds.
2004-01-20Move WRKSRC definition away from the first paragraph in a Makefile.agc1-2/+2
2003-07-21COMMENT should start with a capital letter.martti1-2/+2

2003-05-05do-install:grant1-19/+20
- don't call install with multiple directory args. - use cd && ... instead of cd ; ... - whitespace cleanup
2003-03-29Place WRKSRC where it belongs, to make pkglint happy; ok'ed by wiz.jmmv1-2/+2
2002-09-21buildlink1 -> buildlink2jlam1-4/+4
2002-07-24Change explicit build dependencies on perl into "USE_PERL5=build". Thisjlam1-2/+2
makes these packages build correctly on Darwin where perl>=5.8.0 is required.
2002-03-23Update PilotManager to 1.107.2nb1magick3-5/+32
Changes are: - Apply a patch posted on the homepage to avoid problems when backing up PalmOS3.5 devices - Make PKGNAME dewey conform

2001-10-31Move pkg/ files into package's toplevel directoryzuntum2-1/+1
2001-10-02Use Digest::MD5.pm instead of MD5.pm in the SyncPlan conduit. The MD5.pmjlam4-2/+62
module is superseded by Digest::MD5.pm.
2001-09-27Mechanical changes to 375 files to change dependency patterns of the formjlam1-5/+5
foo-* to foo-[0-9]*. This is to cause the dependencies to match only the packages whose base package name is "foo", and not those named "foo-bar". A concrete example is p5-Net-* matching p5-Net-DNS as well as p5-Net. Also change dependency examples in Packages.txt to reflect this.
2001-09-05Alter dependencies so that perl>=5.6.1nb2 will satisfy the dependency forjlam1-2/+2
p5-CGI or p5-Data-Dumper.
2001-04-20Move to sha1 digests, and add distfile sizes.agc1-2/+3
