2010-08-21Bump the PKGREVISION for all packages which depend directly on perl,seb1-2/+2
to trigger/signal a rebuild for the transition 5.10.1 -> 5.12.1. The list of packages is computed by finding all packages which end up having either of PERL5_USE_PACKLIST, BUILDLINK_API_DEPENDS.perl, or PERL5_PACKLIST defined in their make setup (tested via "make show-vars VARNAMES=..."), minus the packages updated after the perl package update. sno@ was right after all, obache@ kindly asked and he@ led the way. Thanks!
2008-10-19Bump the PKGREVISION for all packages which depend directly on perl,he1-1/+2
to trigger/signal a rebuild for the transition 5.8.8 -> 5.10.0. The list of packages is computed by finding all packages which end up having either of PERL5_USE_PACKLIST, BUILDLINK_API_DEPENDS.perl, or PERL5_PACKLIST defined in their make setup (tested via "make show-vars VARNAMES=...").

2007-10-25Remove empty PLISTs from pkgsrc since revision 1.33 of plist/plist.mkjlam1-1/+0
can handle packages having no PLIST files.
2007-07-02Update p5-gdbm to 1.08.obache3-27/+9
Changes is in ChangeLog from perl-5.8 to perl-5.8.8.
2006-03-04Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where nojlam1-2/+2
developer is officially maintaining the package. The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by submitting patches to the mailing list). Since the folks most likely to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't developers.
2005-08-06Bump the PKGREVISIONs of all (638) packages that hardcode the locationsjlam1-2/+2
of Perl files to deal with the perl-5.8.7 update that moved all pkgsrc-installed Perl files into the "vendor" directories.
2005-07-13Turn PERL5_PACKLIST into a relative path instead of an absolute path.jlam1-2/+2
These paths are now relative to PERL5_PACKLIST_DIR, which currently defaults to ${PERL5_SITEARCH}. There is no change to the binary packages.
2005-06-24Drop the perl-5.6.x package from pkgsrc. Remove lang/perl58 and updatejlam1-9/+13
lang/perl5 to perl-5.8.6nb4. Modify packages that referred to lang/perl58 to point to lang/perl5 instead.
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1
2005-02-23Add RMD160 digests in addition to SHA1 ones.agc1-1/+2
2004-12-20since perl is now built with threads on most platforms, the perl archlibgrant1-2/+2
module directory has changed (eg. "darwin-2level" vs. "darwin-thread-multi-2level"). binary packages of perl modules need to be distinguishable between being built against threaded perl and unthreaded perl, so bump the PKGREVISION of all perl module packages and introduce BUILDLINK_RECOMMENDED for perl as perl>=5.8.5nb5 so the correct dependencies are registered and the binary packages are distinct. addresses PR pkg/28619 from H. Todd Fujinaka.
2004-11-12lang/perl5/Makefile.common already adds 'perl5' to CATEGORIES so removeseb1-2/+2
it from it and replace it with 'databases' which was missing.
2004-10-03Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10tv1-2/+2
in the process. (More information on tech-pkg.) Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and installing .la files. Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above via a buildlink3 include.
2004-04-27Convert to buildlink3.snj1-3/+3
2004-01-20Move WRKSRC definition away from the first paragraph in a Makefile.agc1-2/+2
2003-07-21COMMENT should start with a capital letter.martti1-2/+2

2003-06-02Use tech-pkg@ in favor of packages@ as MAINTAINER for orphaned packages.jschauma1-2/+2
Should anybody feel like they could be the maintainer for any of thewe packages, please adjust.
2003-03-29Place WRKSRC where it belongs, to make pkglint happy; ok'ed by wiz.jmmv1-2/+2
2002-11-01Depend on latest gdbm and bump PKGREVISION (major bump in gdbm library).wiz1-1/+2
2002-10-10Convert to use buildlink2 and perl5/module.mk.jlam1-7/+4
2001-11-26Buildlinkify, in the sense that only the perl headers are found injlam3-3/+18
${PREFIX} -- everything else is pickup up from ${BUILDLINK_DIR}.
2001-11-01Move pkg/ files into package's toplevel directoryzuntum3-1/+1
2001-10-18SVR4 packages have a limit of 9 chars for a package name.veego1-1/+2
The automatic truncation in gensolpkg doesn't work for packages which have the same package name for the first 5-6 chars. e.g. amanda-server and amanda-client would be named amanda and amanda. Now, we add a SVR4_PKGNAME and use amacl for amanda-client and amase for amanda-server. All svr4 packages also have a vendor tag, so we have to reserve some chars for this tag, which is normaly 3 or 4 chars. Thats why we can only use 6 or 5 chars for SVR4_PKGNAME. I used 5 for all the packages, to give the vendor tag enough room. All p5-* packages and a few other packages have now a SVR4_PKGNAME.
2001-10-03Update databases/p5-gdbm to 1.05, the latest version from the perl-5.6.1jlam2-12/+10
distribution. There is no list of changes from version 1.03, the one from the perl-5.6.0 distribution.
2001-04-18Move to sha1 digests, and add distfile sizes.agc1-2/+3
2001-04-17+ move the distfile digest/checksum value from files/md5 to distinfoagc1-1/+1
+ move the patch digest/checksum values from files/patch-sum to distinfo + include distfile filesizes in distinfo
2001-02-16Update to new COMMENT style: COMMENT var in Makefile instead of pkg/COMMENT.wiz2-2/+2
2000-08-30Change directory of perl>=5.6.0 from lang/perl5-current to lang/perl5.jlam1-2/+2
2000-08-29Needs at least perl-5.6.0 to build.jlam1-1/+2
2000-08-27Update to p5-gdbm-1.03 from the perl-5.6.0 distribution. This module wasjlam2-5/+5
previously incorrectly versioned at 5.4.4.
2000-08-27Convert packages to use PERL5_PACKLIST (part 2). These are the database andjlam2-12/+6
Apache perl modules, and each compiled and installed/de-installed apparently correctly. As a side effect of the dynamic PLIST, we no longer need to to have separate -static and -shared PLISTs. It's now easier than ever to make a perl5 package for NetBSD :)

1999-04-01Rewrite the extraction commands to be more intuitive.agc1-2/+2
In the vast majority of cases, nothing has changed (i.e. .tgz, .tar.gz, and .tar.bz2). EXTRACT_USING_PAX can be set as before. For custom extractions, instead of using EXTRACT_BEFORE_ARGS, EXTRACT_AFTER_ARGS and EXTRACT_CMD, simply set EXTRACT_CMD to be the command needed to decompress and extract the lements from the archive. ${DOWNLOADED_DISTFILE} can be used to reference the distfile(s). e.g. for compressed shars, where previously there was: EXTRACT_CMD= ${GZCAT} EXTRACT_BEFORE_ARGS= EXTRACT_AFTER_ARGS= |sh now use: EXTRACT_CMD= ${GZCAT} ${DOWNLOADED_DISTFILE} | ${SH}
