2003-03-14(1) Publicly export the value of _OPSYS_RPATH_NAME as RPATH_FLAG;jlam1-2/+2
Makefiles simply need to use this value often, for better or for worse. (2) Create a new variable FIX_RPATH that lists variables that should be cleansed of -R or -rpath values if ${_USE_RPATH} is "no". By default, FIX_RPATH contains LIBS, X11_LDFLAGS, and LDFLAGS, and additional variables may be appended from package Makefiles.

2001-06-21Convert to use buildlink.mk files and mark as USE_BUILDLINK_ONLY.jlam1-10/+9
2001-06-11The buildlink include and lib directories are added to CFLAGS, CPPFLAGS,jlam1-4/+3
CXXFLAGS, and LDFLAGS by the buildlink.mk files so remove the extra definitions to add them from the package Makefiles. As advised by the bsd.buildlink.mk file, also ensure that the buildlink.mk files are included prior to defining any package-specific CFLAGS/LDFLAGS to ensure that the buildlink directories are at the head of the compiler search paths.
2001-06-10Remove dependency on ${BUILDLINK_TARGETS} in pre-configure and pre-buildjlam1-3/+1
targets as the buildlink.mk files now add the dependency automatically. Remove any NO_CONFIGURE definitions as they seem to be useless.

Sqsh (pronounced skwish) is short for SQshelL (pronounced s-q-shell), it is intended as a replacement for the venerable 'isql' program supplied by Sybase. It came about due to years of frustration of trying to do real work with a program that was never meant to perform real work. Sqsh is much more than a nice prompt, it is intended to provide much of the functionality provided by a good shell, such as variables, redirection, pipes, back-grounding, job control, history, command completion, and dynamic configuration. Also, as a by-product of the design, it is remarkably easy to extend and add functionality.
