2008-01-06Some changes take a long time. This package had been broken since tworillig3-5/+29
years. The fix was trivially copied from devel/coconut, which had the same problem concerning an "invalid lvalue in increment".

2006-04-17Strip ${PKGLOCALEDIR} from PLISTs of packages that already obeyjlam1-14/+14
PKGLOCALEDIR and which install their locale files directly under ${PREFIX}/${PKGLOCALEDIR} and sort the PLIST file entries. From now on, pkgsrc/mk/plist/plist-locale.awk will automatically handle transforming the PLIST to refer to the correct locale directory.
2006-03-30* Honor PKGINFODIR.jlam2-6/+11
* List the info files directly in the PLIST.
2006-03-04Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where nojlam1-2/+2
developer is officially maintaining the package. The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by submitting patches to the mailing list). Since the folks most likely to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't developers.

2006-01-04Express these packages' brokenness with BROKEN_IN=pkgsrc-2005Q4schmonz1-3/+2
rather than PKG_FAIL_REASON, so that they provide useful error messages in build logs, and so that they continue to work on platforms where they aren't broken.
2005-12-26Mark packages for pkgsrc-2005Q4 that don't build on NetBSD/i386schmonz1-1/+4

2005-12-05Fixed pkglint warnings. The warnings are mostly quoting issues, forrillig1-2/+2
example MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR} is changed to MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR:Q}. Some other changes are outlined in http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2005/12/02/0034.html

2004-10-03Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10tv1-2/+2
in the process. (More information on tech-pkg.) Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and installing .la files. Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above via a buildlink3 include.
2004-09-22Mechanical changes to package PLISTs to make use of LIBTOOLIZE_PLIST.jlam1-7/+1
All library names listed by *.la files no longer need to be listed in the PLIST, e.g., instead of: lib/libfoo.a lib/libfoo.la lib/libfoo.so lib/libfoo.so.0 lib/libfoo.so.0.1 one simply needs: lib/libfoo.la and bsd.pkg.mk will automatically ensure that the additional library names are listed in the installed package +CONTENTS file. Also make LIBTOOLIZE_PLIST default to "yes".
2004-04-26Convert to buildlink3.snj1-3/+3
2004-02-15Remove info files entries from PLIST.seb1-41/+1
2004-02-14LIBTOOL_OVERRIDE and SHLIBTOOL_OVERRIDE are now lists of shell globsjlam1-2/+1
relative to ${WRKSRC}. Remove redundant LIBTOOL_OVERRIDE settings that are automatically handled by the default setting in bsd.pkg.mk.
2004-01-22replace deprecated USE_GMAKE with USE_GNU_TOOLS+=make.grant1-2/+2
2003-10-24Under Linux, gdbserver is built and installed. So set up PLIST.commonreed3-3/+6
and PLIST.Linux so it is registered. Although it has no change for NetBSD, I bumped the PKGREVISION so it would be clear that this is a different package for Linux. gdbserver is for SunOS too. Can someone check and add PLIST.SunOS?

2002-08-07Update to 5.2.1; remove ONLY_FOR_PLATFORM: even though gdb is in the NetBSDjschauma4-20/+45
base system, people may want to install it from pkgsrc, particularly on Darwin (?), Linux, SunOS and since there is no problem in having one gdb in pkgsrc and one in the base-system, no harm is done. Changes since the last version (4.18) are numerous; highlights include: * New command "set trust-readonly-sections on[off]". * New command "generate-core-file" (or "gcore"). * New command line option --pid or -p followed by a process id * The new `--args' feature can be used to specify command-line arguments for the inferior from gdb's command line. * a new `operate-and-get-next' function bound to `C-o'.
