2006-06-17Fixed pkglint warnings.rillig1-6/+8
2006-04-06Over 1200 files touched but no revisions bumped :)reed1-2/+2
RECOMMENDED is removed. It becomes ABI_DEPENDS. BUILDLINK_RECOMMENDED.foo becomes BUILDLINK_ABI_DEPENDS.foo. BUILDLINK_DEPENDS.foo becomes BUILDLINK_API_DEPENDS.foo. BUILDLINK_DEPENDS does not change. IGNORE_RECOMMENDED (which defaulted to "no") becomes USE_ABI_DEPENDS which defaults to "yes". Added to obsolete.mk checking for IGNORE_RECOMMENDED. I did not manually go through and fix any aesthetic tab/spacing issues. I have tested the above patch on DragonFly building and packaging subversion and pkglint and their many dependencies. I have also tested USE_ABI_DEPENDS=no on my NetBSD workstation (where I have used IGNORE_RECOMMENDED for a long time). I have been an active user of IGNORE_RECOMMENDED since it was available. As suggested, I removed the documentation sentences suggesting bumping for "security" issues. As discussed on tech-pkg. I will commit to revbump, pkglint, pkg_install, createbuildlink separately. Note that if you use wip, it will fail! I will commit to pkgsrc-wip later (within day).
2006-02-05Recursive revision bump / recommended bump for gettext ABI change.joerg1-2/+2
2005-12-05Fixed pkglint warnings. The warnings are mostly quoting issues, forrillig1-2/+2
example MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR} is changed to MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR:Q}. Some other changes are outlined in http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2005/12/02/0034.html
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1
2005-01-27remove buildlink depends on python23-pth, because there isn't arecht1-2/+1
buildlink3.mk for this version anymore
2004-10-03Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10tv1-2/+2
in the process. (More information on tech-pkg.) Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and installing .la files. Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above via a buildlink3 include.

2004-03-28Forgot to bump PKGREVISION in last update.darcy1-2/+2
2003-09-28Back out last change related to moving ncurses/buildlink2.mk tojlam1-2/+2
curses.buildlink2.mk. This was wrong because we _really_ do want to express that we want _n_curses when we include the buildlink2.mk file. We should have a better way to say that the NetBSD curses doesn't quite work well enough. In fact, it's far better to depend on ncurses by default, and exceptionally note when it's okay to use NetBSD curses for specific packages. We will look into this again in the future.
2003-09-27move ncurses/buildlink2.mk to mk/curses.buildlink2.mk, as it providesgrant1-2/+2
support for base system curses/ncurses as well as ncurses itself. suggested by wiz.
2003-09-14If Python 2.3 is been used the pkg version must be >= 2.3nb2.recht1-1/+4

2002-12-10for the Python-version-selection magic to work properly, extension.mkdrochner1-2/+2
must be pulled in before srcdist.mk
2002-09-21Strip the ".buildlink" from the names of the python application andjlam1-2/+2
extension Makefile fragments, because they really don't have anything to do with the buildlink[12] frameworks. Change all the Makefiles that use application.buildlink.mk and extension.buildlink.mk to use application.mk and extension.mk instead.
2002-01-28use distutils to build the extension module, to make it work withdrochner1-11/+17
newer Python versions too, XXX we have to override the do-patch rule to avoid patch errors (we use EXTRACT_ELEMENTS, so we don't generally have all the original files)

1998-09-27Tim tested some of these, but I don't know which. Since at least one oftsarna1-1/+3
the pkgs broke on Alpha that was not expected to, disable them all for the 1.3.3 tag to be on the safe side :-(

but VAX never has.

1998-08-20The Grand Homepagification:tsarna1-1/+2
- New, optional Makefile variable HOMEPAGE, specifies a URL for the home page of the software if it has one. - The value of HOMEPAGE is used to add a link from the README.html files. - pkglint updated to know about it. The "correct" location for HOMEPAGE in the Makefile is after MAINTAINER, in that same section.
