2004-09-30Update the matchbox window manager to version 0.8.4.agc1-1/+2
The old distfile had gone, and there have been many enhancements and bug fixes. matchbox now takes advantage of a separate libmatchbox package.
2004-09-30Initial import of libmatchbox-1.4 into the Packages Collection.agc1-1/+2
This is package is necessary for later versions of the matchbox window manager. A small basic library that provides a large amount of shared functionality to the various matchbox librarys. Provides image processing, font abstraction, a tray app toolkit and more. It is licensed under LGPL.
2004-09-30Update the dylan-interpreter to version 2.3.11agc1-1/+2
Fixes build problems shown up on bulk builds. 2.3.11 has support for NetBSD/i386 as standard, so I've brought the sparc and ppc support forward from previous patches. 2.3.11 no longer includes its own version of the Boehm GC malloc package, so add the boehm-gc buildlink3.mk file to the package Makefile.

2004-09-30Initial import of shc-3.7 into the NetBSD packages collection.grant1-1/+2
shc creates a stripped binary executable version of a shell script. shc itself is not a compiler such as cc, but rather it encodes and encrypts a shell script and generates C source code with the added expiration capability. It then uses the system compiler to compile a stripped binary which behaves exactly like the original script. Upon execution, the compiled binary will decrypt and execute the code with the shell -c option.

Changes since 4.3.8: * fixes to GPC input processing * bundled GD extension synced with 2.0.28, re-introducing write support for GIF (patent expiration worldwide) * Implemented periodic PCRE compiled regexp cache cleanup, to avoid memory exhaustion * Fixed strip_tags() to correctly handle '\0' characters. * Rewritten UNIX and Windows install help files. * Fixed a file-descriptor leak with phpinfo() and other 'special' URLs. * Fixed possible crash inside php_shutdown_config(). * Fixed isset crashes on arrays. * Fixed imagecreatefromstring() crashes with external GD library. * Fixed fgetcsv() parsing of strings ending with escaped enclosures. * Fixed overflow in array_slice(), array_splice(), substr(), substr_replace(), strspn(), strcspn(). * Fixed '\0' in Authenticate header passed via safe_mode. * Allow bundled GD to compile against freetype 2.1.2. All in all this release fixes over 50 bugs that have been discovered and resolved since the 4.3.8 release.

NetBSD Packages Collection. KBarcode is a barcode and label printing application for KDE 3. It can be used to print every thing from simple business cards up to complex labels with several barcodes (e.g. article descriptions). KBarcode comes with an easy to use WYSIWYG label designer, a setup wizard, batch import of labels (directly from the delivery note), thousands of predefined labels, database managment tools and translations in many languages. All major types of barcodes like EAN, UPC, CODE39, DataMatrix and ISBN are supported.

2004-09-27Update gtar packages to 1.14:wiz2-3/+5
XXX: man page not updated (didn't find new version of suse gtar man page which we're using in the package) version 1.14 - Sergey Poznyakoff, 2004-05-11 * Added support for POSIX.1-2001 and ustar archive formats. * New option --format allows to select the output archive format * The default output format can be selected at configuration time by presetting the environment variable DEFAULT_ARCHIVE_FORMAT. Allowed values are GNU, V7, OLDGNU and POSIX. * New option --strip-path allows to cut off a given number of path elements from the name of the file being extracted. * New options --index-file, --no-overwrite-dir. The --overwrite-dir option is now the default; use --no-overwrite-dir if you prefer the previous default behavior. * The semantics of -o option is changed. When extracting, it does the same as --no-same-owner GNU tar option. This is compatible with UNIX98 tar. Otherwise, its effect is the same as that of --old-archive option. This latter is deprecated and will be removed in future. * New option --check-links prints a message if not all links are dumped for a file being archived. This corresponds to the UNIX98 -l option. The current semantics of the -l option is retained for compatibility with previous releases, however such usage is strongly deprecated as the option will change to its UNIX98 semantics in the future releases. * New option --occurrence[=N] can be used in conjunction with one of the subcommands --delete, --diff, --extract or --list when a list of files is given either on the command line or via -T option. This option instructs tar to process only the Nth occurrence of each named file. N defaults to 1, so `tar -x -f archive --occurrence filename' extracts the first occurrence of `filename' from `archive' and terminates without scanning to the end of the archive. * New option --pax-option allows to control the handling of POSIX keywords in `pax' extended headers. It is equivalent to `pax' -o option. * --incremental and --listed-incremental options work correctly on individual files, as well as on directories. * New scripts: backup (replaces old level-0 and level-1) and restore. The scripts are compiled and installed if --enable-backup-scripts option is given to configure. * By default tar searches "rmt" utility in "$prefix/libexec/rmt", which is consistent with the location where the version of "rmt" included in the package is installed. Previous versions of tar used "/etc/rmt". To install "rmt" to its traditional location, run configure with option --libexecdir=/etc. Otherwise, if you already have rmt installed and wish to use it, instead of the shipped in version, set the variable DEFAULT_RMT_COMMAND to the full path name of the utility, e.g. ./configure DEFAULT_RMT_COMMAND=/etc/rmt. Notice also that the full path name of the "rmt" utility to use can be set at runtime, by giving option --rmt-command to tar. * Removed obsolete command line options: ** --absolute-paths superseded by --absolute-names ** --block-compress is not needed any longer ** --block-size superseded by --blocking-factor ** --modification-time superseded by --touch ** --read-full-blocks superseded by --read-full-records ** --record-number superseded by --block-number ** --version-control superseded by --backup * New message translations fi (Finnish), gl (Galician), hr (Croatian), hu (Hungarian), ms (Malaysian), nb (Norwegian), ro (Romanian), sk (Slovak), zh_CN (Chinese simplified), zh_TW (Chinese traditional). The code 'no' for Norwegian (Bokmål) has been withdrawn; use 'nb' instead.
2004-09-27Update xscreensaver to 4.18:wiz2-3/+5
4.18 14-Aug-2004 * Oops, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. 4.17 14-Aug-2004 * New hacks, anemotaxis and memscroller. * Fixed a bad bug that caused vidwhacker to never die. * Fixed normals and lighting in polyhedra. * Don't reuse the window when changing hacks (to work around bugs in some GL implementations.) * Made xscreensaver-getimage-file skip thumbnail-sized images. * Fixed endian problem in barcode on non-x86. * Updates to webcollage, apple2, fuzzyflakes, atunnel, and pacman. * Timing tweaks to bubble3d, bouncingcow, engine, gltext, lavalite, molecule, spotlight, sballs, boxed, blinkbox, and circuit. * Configure updates for Fedora core 2 / xorg 6.7.0. * Compile without warnings under gcc 3.3.3. * I give up: don't blank or lock the screen if we can't get a keyboard grab. In that case, both choices are bad.
