2012-08-07editor/vigor: post-patch operation broke DragonFlymarino1-1/+5
DragonFly replaced CIRCLEQ_* with TAILQ_* a few years back. The system sys/queue.h will not build editors/vigor. The Makefile's post-patch phase removed it's version of queue.h because it masked the system sys/queue.h, which is exactly what is required for DragonFly. Make this post-patch operation system specific: Do it only for non-DragonFly platforms.
2012-06-17Needs curses, not just termcap. Not bumping revision since it won't havedholland1-2/+2
built since the previous bump, except where curses and termcap pull in the same depends, in which case it doesn't matter.
2012-06-15vigor only works with db1, so if db1 is builtin use it, otherwise usesbd1-4/+13
the included db implementation. Bump PKGREVISION.
2012-06-14Add missing termcap buildlink.sbd1-2/+3

2012-03-08* No need to USE_DB185=yes, it's default behaviour for the case db1 is ↵obache1-4/+1
acceptable. * No need to conditional db.h => db_185.h, it will be handled by db1.builtin.mk.
2012-03-07Fix build on SunOS.hans1-4/+13
- uses db1, so include bdb.buildlink3.mk etc. - don't build catpage

2006-03-04Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where nojlam1-2/+2
developer is officially maintaining the package. The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by submitting patches to the mailing list). Since the folks most likely to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't developers.

2006-01-04Express these packages' brokenness with BROKEN_IN=pkgsrc-2005Q4schmonz1-3/+2
rather than PKG_FAIL_REASON, so that they provide useful error messages in build logs, and so that they continue to work on platforms where they aren't broken.

Bump PKGREVISION.
2005-06-01Massive cleanup of buildlink3.mk and builtin.mk files in pkgsrc.jlam1-2/+1
Several changes are involved since they are all interrelated. These changes affect about 1000 files. The first major change is rewriting bsd.builtin.mk as well as all of the builtin.mk files to follow the new example in bsd.builtin.mk. The loop to include all of the builtin.mk files needed by the package is moved from bsd.builtin.mk and into bsd.buildlink3.mk. bsd.builtin.mk is now included by each of the individual builtin.mk files and provides some common logic for all of the builtin.mk files. Currently, this includes the computation for whether the native or pkgsrc version of the package is preferred. This causes USE_BUILTIN.* to be correctly set when one builtin.mk file includes another. The second major change is teach the builtin.mk files to consider files under ${LOCALBASE} to be from pkgsrc-controlled packages. Most of the builtin.mk files test for the presence of built-in software by checking for the existence of certain files, e.g. <pthread.h>, and we now assume that if that file is under ${LOCALBASE}, then it must be from pkgsrc. This modification is a nod toward LOCALBASE=/usr. The exceptions to this new check are the X11 distribution packages, which are handled specially as noted below. The third major change is providing builtin.mk and version.mk files for each of the X11 distribution packages in pkgsrc. The builtin.mk file can detect whether the native X11 distribution is the same as the one provided by pkgsrc, and the version.mk file computes the version of the X11 distribution package, whether it's built-in or not. The fourth major change is that the buildlink3.mk files for X11 packages that install parts which are part of X11 distribution packages, e.g. Xpm, Xcursor, etc., now use imake to query the X11 distribution for whether the software is already provided by the X11 distribution. This is more accurate than grepping for a symbol name in the imake config files. Using imake required sprinkling various builtin-imake.mk helper files into pkgsrc directories. These files are used as input to imake since imake can't use stdin for that purpose. The fifth major change is in how packages note that they use X11. Instead of setting USE_X11, package Makefiles should now include x11.buildlink3.mk instead. This causes the X11 package buildlink3 and builtin logic to be executed at the correct place for buildlink3.mk and builtin.mk files that previously set USE_X11, and fixes packages that relied on buildlink3.mk files to implicitly note that X11 is needed. Package buildlink3.mk should also include x11.buildlink3.mk when linking against the package libraries requires also linking against the X11 libraries. Where it was obvious, redundant inclusions of x11.buildlink3.mk have been removed.
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1

Also fix build problems - there is a <sys/queue.h> header file bundled with vigor which will take precedence over the system header, but lacks some necessary definitions for NetBSD (at least). Remove the header accordingly.
2001-11-15Update vigor to 0.016. Changes:hubertf1-2/+2
Version 0.016 (May 2 19:36) * Enable Version 0.015 (Mar 25 15:17) * Disable by default built-in curses, db, and re libraries. Most OS's these days have proper libraries for these, and I was seeing conflicts (particularly on SuSE under Vigor 0.014). This may break things on some other OS's, probably older ones. If so, try using --enable-curses --enable-db --enable-re on the command line. Version 0.014 (Feb 8 14:50) * Remove the hack to the EULA that produced the Jumping Vigor Bug. Version 0.013 (Feb 5 11:53) * Fix to configure.in: it looked for Tcl on Debian systems when it was supposed to look for Tk. Version 0.012 (Feb 4 00:28) * Updated EULA, made dialog box move along with assistant Version 0.011 (Feb 2 00:10) * Look for libtcl8.2 etc (as opposed to libtcl82 etc); handle select() calls prior to assistant initialization
2001-09-27Mechanical changes to 375 files to change dependency patterns of the formjlam1-2/+2
foo-* to foo-[0-9]*. This is to cause the dependencies to match only the packages whose base package name is "foo", and not those named "foo-bar". A concrete example is p5-Net-* matching p5-Net-DNS as well as p5-Net. Also change dependency examples in Packages.txt to reflect this.

2000-01-19Vigor is designed as a vi-compatible editor, with a little (*ahem*)hubertf1-0/+29
extra something thrown in. It was inspired by the January 4, 2000 storyline in the User Friendly comic. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out at http://www.userfriendly.org/ (and do so in a place you can freely laugh).
