Makefiles simply need to use this value often, for better or for worse. (2) Create a new variable FIX_RPATH that lists variables that should be cleansed of -R or -rpath values if ${_USE_RPATH} is "no". By default, FIX_RPATH contains LIBS, X11_LDFLAGS, and LDFLAGS, and additional variables may be appended from package Makefiles.

Summary of changes since 1.2.4 (from ChangeLog): * DOC/cart.txt: fixed a few typos * ui.c: - applied patch from Ed Cogburn that fixes subsequent mounting of R/W disks in slot that was mounted R/O previously. - finally implemented the R/W <-> R/O mode switching using the Space Bar. Please note that this R/W <-> R/O switch is just temporary and does not change the writeprotect flag of ATR images.
