(I misunderstood how wine stable branches work, sorry!)
|
|
|
|
The most recent stable version (5.0) is known to be problematic due to
the need for individual programs to link against msvcrt.
Based partially on zerous's "wine32" package in pkgsrc-wip.
Includes several years of changes.
This package does not include WoW64 support, so you can't run 32-bit
binaries on a 64-bit system. That's for later...

pkglint -r --network --only "migrate"
As a side-effect of migrating the homepages, pkglint also fixed a few
indentations in unrelated lines. These and the new homepages have been
checked manually.

Start building FreeGLUT with GLUT compatibility on.
- GLUT's maintainance state is much worse than FreeGLUT's, with no
substanital commits since 2011.
- GLUT can no longer be consider a core component of Mesa or X11.
- Nobody except us seems to be using it...
Other vendors still shipping GLUT:
- GoboLinux, T2 SDE, PLD Linux
Revbump packages using GLUT or freeglut by default.

This should be the last part of the renaming operation for print/cups to
print/cups-base.
Rationale: packages depending on CUPS but not relying on a functional
printing setup only need to depend on print/cups-base (equivalent to the
former print/cups). The new print/cups now depends on print/cups-base
and on print/cups-filters, thus directly providing a functional printing
setup. This bump reflects this change of dependency.
As discussed on tech-pkg@
|
|
This is with the notable exception of meta-pkgs/desktop-gnome, which I
believe implies a fully functional cups.
This is still missing revision bumps - I'll be right there (first time I
am doing this on so many packages at a time).

might incur ncurses dependencies on some platforms, and ncurses just bumped
its shlib.
Some packages were bumped twice now, sorry for that.
