pkglint -Wall -r --autofix --only aligned
After running the above command, three packages had to be adjusted
manually:
In maelstrom-x11, pkglint didn't see that a commented variable
assignment should have been re-aligned as well.
In netmaze, there was a single line that didn't align well with all the
others, but pkglint decided to adjust the whole paragraph to this single
line. The result would have been ok, but not good.
In tscp, there was a paragraph where some of the lines were indented
one space more than the others. This rule is useful when one variable
name is very long compared to the others, but not in this case.
|
|
Therefore it is not necessary to add the :Q modifier to this variable
and several others.
pkglint -r -Wall --autofix --only :Q

share/doc/html has been deprecated since about 10 years.
Bumped PKGREVISION.

The additional slash in the PLIST was probably a typo.
It wasn't noticed yet because the package doesn't build
on Linux right now, during the build phase.
|
|
The documentation is from 2000, but still relevant in large parts.

Unsorted entries in PLIST files have generated a pkglint warning for at
least 12 years. Somewhat more recently, pkglint has learned to sort
PLIST files automatically. Since pkglint 5.4.23, the sorting is only
done in obvious, simple cases. These have been applied by running:
pkglint -Cnone,PLIST -Wnone,plist-sort -r -F
|
|
|
|
The actual cleanup has been done by pkglint:
* Added missing identifier comments
* Replaced ${PKGMANDIR} with a simple man, since the infrastructure does
all the magic for PLISTs

on NetBSD 8.0. Instead just include <stdarg.h> and <stdio.h>.
Rename the patch file for include/system.h in the process.

avoid implicit declarations - add includes where necessary, use
memset rather than bzero while at it - it's the more portable one.
avoid global buffer overflow found via asan.
disable fortify because it still won't run and no tool I've tried found
what's wrong. it's corrupting the GOT at init according to gdb.

Rocks'n'Diamonds 4.0.1.0:
This new release mainly adds improved support for game controllers and joysticks. While old-style joysticks and game pads were supported since a long time ago in Rocks’n’Diamonds, modern game controllers like the Xbox game controller were not supported very well until now.

There seem to be some restrictions on it, although I'm not certain that
the package was violating them as it. To avoid doubts, restrict.

Unfortunately this still does not build due to errors in the book. It's
likely this package should just be deleted, but I'll leave it around for
now in case someone speaks gnuchess and is able to patch it sufficiently.
Bump PKGREVISION anyway for the LICENSE change.
