2008-01-18Per the process outlined in revbump(1), perform a recursive revbumptnn1-1/+2
on packages that are affected by the switch from the openssl 0.9.7 branch to the 0.9.8 branch. ok jlam@
2007-09-10Fix typo (exmaples -> examples).hira1-2/+2
2007-07-04Make it easier to build and install packages "unprivileged", wherejlam1-2/+3
the owner of all installed files is a non-root user. This change affects most packages that require special users or groups by making them use the specified unprivileged user and group instead. (1) Add two new variables PKG_GROUPS_VARS and PKG_USERS_VARS to unprivileged.mk. These two variables are lists of other bmake variables that define package-specific users and groups. Packages that have user-settable variables for users and groups, e.g. apache and APACHE_{USER,GROUP}, courier-mta and COURIER_{USER,GROUP}, etc., should list these variables in PKG_USERS_VARS and PKG_GROUPS_VARS so that unprivileged.mk can know to set them to ${UNPRIVILEGED_USER} and ${UNPRIVILEGED_GROUP}. (2) Modify packages to use PKG_GROUPS_VARS and PKG_USERS_VARS.

2007-02-22Whitespace cleanup, courtesy of pkglint.wiz1-2/+2
Patch provided by Sergey Svishchev in private mail.
2006-10-23Fixed pkglint warnings and made the package work for unprivileged users.rillig2-7/+15
2006-05-05Update qpopper package to 4.0.9.taca3-8/+7
Changes from 4.0.8 to 4.0.9: ----------------------------- 1. Fix crash if too many MDEF commands entered.
2006-05-02Don't run qpopauth -init -safe during installation, it destroys thejoerg4-8/+13
symmetry between installation from source and from binary package. Annoate MESSAGE accordingly, so that those using apop can do it themselves. Bump revision
2006-01-08Fix errno.joerg4-1/+42
2005-12-29Remove USE_PKGINSTALL from pkgsrc now that mk/install/pkginstall.mkjlam1-2/+1
automatically detects whether we want the pkginstall machinery to be used by the package Makefile.
2005-12-05Ran "pkglint --autofix", which corrected some of the quoting issues inrillig3-8/+8
CONFIGURE_ARGS.
2005-12-05Quiet pkglint; changing make macro in double quotation into :Q modifier.taca2-4/+4
2005-09-28Replaced "# defined" with "yes" in Makefile variables like GNU_CONFIGURE,rillig1-2/+2
NO_BUILD, USE_LIBTOOL.
2005-06-13Move qpopper specific definition from Makefile.common to Makefiletaca2-28/+27
to avoid accidently sharing options.mk between poppassd and qpopper. No functional change to qpopper pkgsrc itself.
2005-06-01Add a PKG_OPTIONS_LEGACY_VARS line for QPOPPER_USE_DRAC.wiz1-1/+2
2005-06-01Add drac, kerberos, and qpopper-servermode options.wiz2-22/+19
Replace PAM with pam.

2005-05-31Packages have no business modifying PKG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS -- it's adillo1-5/+2
user settable variable. Set PKG_SUGGESTED_OPTIONS instead. Also, make use of PKG_OPTIONS_LEGACY_VARS. Reviewed by wiz.
2005-05-28- Update HOMEPAGE.taca3-6/+9
- Sort PLIST. - Share MASTER_SITES and HOMEPAGE with poppassd package with introducing QPOPPER_MASTER_SITES and QPOPPER_HOMEPAGE in Makefile.common.
2005-05-02RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR is no longer customizable.reed1-1/+2
And always is defined as share/examples/rc.d which was the default before. This rc.d scripts are not automatically added to PLISTs now also. So add to each corresponding PLIST as required. This was discussed on tech-pkg in late January and late April. Todo: remove the RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR uses in MESSAGES and elsewhere and remove the RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR itself.
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1
2005-02-24Add RMD160 digests.agc1-1/+3
2005-01-30Update qpopper package to 4.0.5nb7.taca4-13/+57
- Explicitly add "--disable-ipv6" when inet6 is disabled. - Fix compile error when inet6 is disabled. This should fix PR pkg/28805.
2005-01-10Remove inet6 from PKG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS. When USE_INET6 is defined it will setadrianp1-2/+2
inet6. Move to calling all such flags 'inet6'.
2004-12-28The default location of the pkgsrc-installed rc.d scripts is nowreed1-2/+2
under share/examples/rc.d. The variable name already was named RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR. This is from ideas from Greg Woods and others. Also bumped PKGREVISION for all packages using RCD_SCRIPTS mechanism (as requested by wiz).
2004-12-19qpopper supports reloading config files with SIGHUP, so enable thegrant1-1/+2
"reload" command.
2004-12-18move ssl and ipv6 options to new options.mk framework (no change togrant3-7/+29
existing defaults) and while here, add QPOPPER_SPOOL_DIR to define spool directory (no change to existing default).
2004-12-18set rcvar so that the "qpopper" variable in /etc/rc.conf is honoured.grant1-1/+2
2004-12-18include bsd.prefs.mk before ?= of various pkgsrc build options so theygrant1-5/+5
are picked up from mk.conf.
2004-12-17Correct set PKG_USERS with QPOPPER_USER and newly QPOPPER_GROUP.taca2-3/+4
Should be fix pkg/28687.
2004-10-03Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10tv1-2/+2
in the process. (More information on tech-pkg.) Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and installing .la files. Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above via a buildlink3 include.
2004-07-13s/with/enable/ to fix build when QPOPPER_USER != popmarkd1-2/+2
2004-06-22Enable drac support in mail/qpopper package, patch was suppliedxtraeme2-3/+10
by John Nemeth in PR pkg/22925. The new option to use is "QPOPPER_USE_DRAC" and by default is not defined. Bump PKGREVISION.
2004-05-06Install stand-alone qpopper to ${PREFIX}/sbin.taca8-14/+182
Bump PKGREVISION. TODO: support libwrap(tcpwrappers) in stand-alone qpopper.
2004-04-18Convert to buildlink3.snj1-3/+3
2004-03-26PKGREVISION bump after openssl-security-fix-update to 0.9.6m.wiz1-2/+2
Buildlink files: RECOMMENDED version changed to current version.
2003-11-12PKGREVISION++ after openssl update.jschauma1-1/+2
2003-03-13upgrade to 4.0.5. includes security fix.itojun4-17/+16
Changes from 4.0.4 to 4.0.5: ---------------------------- 1. Add debug trace call with OpenSSL library version. 2. Added 'tls-options' configuration file option. 3. Added 'tls-workarounds' boolean option. 4. STLS errors (except for timeout) no longer fatal. 5. Added sample xinetd configuration file. 6. Additional checks for networking libraries. 7. Pick up LDFLAGS from environment, if set. 8. Added '--enable-32-bit' and '--enable-64-bit' 9. Applied patch from Jeremy Chadwick to fix pathname trimming in standalone mode. 10. Fixed (non-root) buffer overflow. 11. Fixed '-no-mime' appended to user name (reported by Florian Heinz). 12. Fixed response message when identical MDEFs defined multiple times (reported by Florian Heinz).
2003-03-13enable IPv6 pop serviceitojun1-3/+4
2003-01-28Instead of including bsd.pkg.install.mk directly in a package Makefile,jlam1-4/+3
have it be automatically included by bsd.pkg.mk if USE_PKGINSTALL is set to "YES". This enforces the requirement that bsd.pkg.install.mk be included at the end of a package Makefile. Idea suggested by Julio M. Merino Vidal <jmmv at menta.net>.
2002-11-23Make qpopper build on Solaris.taca3-14/+16
- Remove extra rule line in install target. (It tried to do make on password directory.) - Solaris's /usr/ucb/install dosen't accept number with -g option.
2002-09-09* buildlink1 --> buildlink2.jlam2-12/+15
* Pass the LDFLAGS through to the build process so that the final binaries are built with the appropriate -Wl,-R flags. This should fix pkg/18054. * Use ROOT_{USER,GROUP} instead of hardcoding "root" and "wheel" when installing poppassd.
2002-06-15Change USE_KERBEROS to PKG_USE_KERBEROS in pkgsrc. There was a "conflict"cjep1-2/+2
which the basesrc USE_KERBEROS variable. Discussed on packages@ This fixes PR#17182 from Takahiro Kambe. The problem was pointed out by FUKAUMI Naoki on a Japanese NetBSD mailing list.
