2006-08-24Update arla to 0.43.wennmach6-59/+94
Major changes since last version: * Security fix: access control for `fs setcacheparams' * Support 64-bit files on 32-bit systems * Arla now binds to a random port if the default port is busy * Emulate rename between same-cell volumes by doing copy+remove * Allow setting workers in arla.conf * (Improved) support for several OS/machine combinations * Other fixes
2006-04-06List the info files directly in the PLIST and honor PKG{INFO,MAN}DIR.jlam2-3/+5
2006-04-06Override some directory paths at installation time via the make commandjlam5-49/+8
line rather than patching their values directly in the Makefiles.
2006-03-14Adapt to pkginstall framework changes. This was missed in the originaljlam1-4/+1
commit.
2006-03-14Modify the pkginstall framework so that it manages all aspects ofjlam1-4/+1
INSTALL/DEINSTALL script creation within pkgsrc. If an INSTALL or DEINSTALL script is found in the package directory, it is automatically used as a template for the pkginstall-generated scripts. If instead, they should be used simply as the full scripts, then the package Makefile should set INSTALL_SRC or DEINSTALL_SRC explicitly, e.g.: INSTALL_SRC= ${PKGDIR}/INSTALL DEINSTALL_SRC= # emtpy As part of the restructuring of the pkginstall framework internals, we now *always* generate temporary INSTALL or DEINSTALL scripts. By comparing these temporary scripts with minimal INSTALL/DEINSTALL scripts formed from only the base templates, we determine whether or not the INSTALL/DEINSTALL scripts are actually needed by the package (see the generate-install-scripts target in bsd.pkginstall.mk). In addition, more variables in the framework have been made private. The *_EXTRA_TMPL variables have been renamed to *_TEMPLATE, which are more sensible names given the very few exported variables in this framework. The only public variables relating to the templates are: INSTALL_SRC INSTALL_TEMPLATE DEINSTALL_SRC DEINSTALL_TEMPLATE HEADER_TEMPLATE The packages in pkgsrc have been modified to reflect the changes in the pkginstall framework.

2005-12-29Remove USE_PKGINSTALL from pkgsrc now that mk/install/pkginstall.mkjlam1-2/+1
automatically detects whether we want the pkginstall machinery to be used by the package Makefile.
2005-12-15Update arla to 0.41. The update is necessary to support NetBSD-2.1wennmach40-1072/+241
and NetBSD-3.0 and should fix the broken bulk build. Tested on NetBSD-2.0.2/i386 and NetBSD-2.1/i386.
2005-12-05Ran "pkglint --autofix", which corrected some of the quoting issues inrillig1-3/+3
CONFIGURE_ARGS.
2005-12-05Fixed pkglint warnings. The warnings are mostly quoting issues, forrillig1-4/+4
example MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR} is changed to MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR:Q}. Some other changes are outlined in http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2005/12/02/0034.html
2005-09-28Removed trailing white-space.rillig1-2/+2
2005-09-03Replaced patch-ba with an identical patch-bm, because the former hadrillig2-3/+3
needed the CVS -ko mode in revision 1.4.
2005-06-27Removed RCS Id from patch-ba.rillig2-6/+3
2005-06-01Massive cleanup of buildlink3.mk and builtin.mk files in pkgsrc.jlam1-2/+3
Several changes are involved since they are all interrelated. These changes affect about 1000 files. The first major change is rewriting bsd.builtin.mk as well as all of the builtin.mk files to follow the new example in bsd.builtin.mk. The loop to include all of the builtin.mk files needed by the package is moved from bsd.builtin.mk and into bsd.buildlink3.mk. bsd.builtin.mk is now included by each of the individual builtin.mk files and provides some common logic for all of the builtin.mk files. Currently, this includes the computation for whether the native or pkgsrc version of the package is preferred. This causes USE_BUILTIN.* to be correctly set when one builtin.mk file includes another. The second major change is teach the builtin.mk files to consider files under ${LOCALBASE} to be from pkgsrc-controlled packages. Most of the builtin.mk files test for the presence of built-in software by checking for the existence of certain files, e.g. <pthread.h>, and we now assume that if that file is under ${LOCALBASE}, then it must be from pkgsrc. This modification is a nod toward LOCALBASE=/usr. The exceptions to this new check are the X11 distribution packages, which are handled specially as noted below. The third major change is providing builtin.mk and version.mk files for each of the X11 distribution packages in pkgsrc. The builtin.mk file can detect whether the native X11 distribution is the same as the one provided by pkgsrc, and the version.mk file computes the version of the X11 distribution package, whether it's built-in or not. The fourth major change is that the buildlink3.mk files for X11 packages that install parts which are part of X11 distribution packages, e.g. Xpm, Xcursor, etc., now use imake to query the X11 distribution for whether the software is already provided by the X11 distribution. This is more accurate than grepping for a symbol name in the imake config files. Using imake required sprinkling various builtin-imake.mk helper files into pkgsrc directories. These files are used as input to imake since imake can't use stdin for that purpose. The fifth major change is in how packages note that they use X11. Instead of setting USE_X11, package Makefiles should now include x11.buildlink3.mk instead. This causes the X11 package buildlink3 and builtin logic to be executed at the correct place for buildlink3.mk and builtin.mk files that previously set USE_X11, and fixes packages that relied on buildlink3.mk files to implicitly note that X11 is needed. Package buildlink3.mk should also include x11.buildlink3.mk when linking against the package libraries requires also linking against the X11 libraries. Where it was obvious, redundant inclusions of x11.buildlink3.mk have been removed.
2005-05-23Removed trailing white-space.rillig1-1/+1
2005-05-02RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR is no longer customizable.reed1-1/+2
And always is defined as share/examples/rc.d which was the default before. This rc.d scripts are not automatically added to PLISTs now also. So add to each corresponding PLIST as required. This was discussed on tech-pkg in late January and late April. Todo: remove the RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR uses in MESSAGES and elsewhere and remove the RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR itself.
2005-05-02Remove the @comment entry for the rc.d script. It is notreed1-2/+1
needed. I noticed this because I am changing the framework to not auto-register the rc.d scripts and I am adding them to all the PLISTs.
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1
2005-04-05Add glue to make arla compile on NetBSD 3.99.3, aka -currentagc2-1/+24
2005-03-26Feedback of patches from Love <lha>.wennmach5-31/+44
Bump PKGREVISION.
2005-03-25Fix a number of issues:wennmach25-41/+379
- LP64 and other portability issues - Find the correct <kafs.h> in order to get the right prototype for kafs_settoken_rxkad. - Find the correct <com_err.h> - Add support for -DMULTIPROCESSOR and other kernel compile options Bump PKGREVISION.
2005-03-15Update arla to 0.38. The update is necessary to support NetBSD-2.0.wennmach48-1260/+882
The update during the pkgsrc freeze has been approved by <wiz>. Two patches have been provided by <christos>. Tested on NetBSD-1.6.1/i386 and NetBSD-2.0/i386. Closes PR pkg/20906.
2005-02-24Add RMD160 digests.agc1-1/+2
2004-12-28The default location of the pkgsrc-installed rc.d scripts is nowreed1-3/+2
under share/examples/rc.d. The variable name already was named RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR. This is from ideas from Greg Woods and others. Also bumped PKGREVISION for all packages using RCD_SCRIPTS mechanism (as requested by wiz).
2004-10-03Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10tv1-1/+2
in the process. (More information on tech-pkg.) Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and installing .la files. Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above via a buildlink3 include.
2004-07-01"Blind" conversion to bl3 -- does not compile on 1.6.x nor 2.0_BETA withwiz1-3/+3
bl2 anyway.
2004-04-23mk/bsd.pkg.install.mk now automatically registersreed1-2/+1
the RCD_SCRIPTS rc.d script(s) to the PLIST. This GENERATE_PLIST idea is part of Greg A. Woods' PR #22954. This helps when the RC_SCRIPTS are installed to a different ${RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR}. (Later, the default RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR will be changed to be more clear that they are the examples.) These patches also remove the etc/rc.d/ scripts from PLISTs (of packages that use RCD_SCRIPTS). (This also removes now unused references from openssh* makefiles. Note that qmail package has not been changed yet.) I have been doing automatic PLIST registration for RC_SCRIPTS for over a year. Not all of these packages have been tested, but many have been tested and used. Somethings maybe to do: - a few packages still manually install the rc.d scripts to hard-coded etc/rc.d. These need to be fixed. - maybe remove from mk/${OPSYS}.pkg.dist mtree specifications too.
2004-03-08Remove info files entries from PLIST.seb1-2/+1
XXX the package did not build for me.
2003-08-30Add definitions for DEINSTALL_EXTRA_TMPL and INSTALL_EXTRA_TMPL ifjlam1-2/+5
USE_PKGINSTALL is "YES". bsd.pkg.install.mk will no longer automatically pick up a INSTALL/DEINSTALL script in the package directory and assume that you want it for the corresponding *_EXTRA_TMPL variable.
2003-08-09USE_NEW_TEXINFO is unnecessary now.seb1-2/+1
2003-08-07The INSTALL and DEINSTALL script were overlooked during the conversionseb1-1/+4
to USE_NEW_TEXINFO. So list them back in {DE,}INSTALL_EXTRA_TMPL.
2003-08-03Convert to USE_NEW_TEXINFO.seb1-2/+2
XXX I was not able to compile this on 1.6W, 1.6.1 or 1.5.3.
