2013-11-06Link explicitly against libm.joerg2-1/+15
2013-07-12Bump PKGREVISION of all packages which create users, to pick up change ofjperkin1-2/+2
sysutils/user_* packages.
2012-10-23Drop superfluous PKG_DESTDIR_SUPPORT, "user-destdir" is default these days.asau1-3/+1
2011-09-04Declare main correctly in test programs. gcc apparently doesn't care ifdholland3-1/+33
you attempt "int main(int argc, char *argv)" but clang does.
2010-02-11DESTDIR support. Create home directory at runtime with 700.joerg1-12/+11
2007-12-02Remove Ex-MASTER_SITEs. From Zafer Aydogan.wiz1-4/+2
2007-07-04Make it easier to build and install packages "unprivileged", wherejlam1-1/+4
the owner of all installed files is a non-root user. This change affects most packages that require special users or groups by making them use the specified unprivileged user and group instead. (1) Add two new variables PKG_GROUPS_VARS and PKG_USERS_VARS to unprivileged.mk. These two variables are lists of other bmake variables that define package-specific users and groups. Packages that have user-settable variables for users and groups, e.g. apache and APACHE_{USER,GROUP}, courier-mta and COURIER_{USER,GROUP}, etc., should list these variables in PKG_USERS_VARS and PKG_GROUPS_VARS so that unprivileged.mk can know to set them to ${UNPRIVILEGED_USER} and ${UNPRIVILEGED_GROUP}. (2) Modify packages to use PKG_GROUPS_VARS and PKG_USERS_VARS.
2006-06-20USE_TOOLS+=yaccminskim1-1/+2
2006-04-23Modify packages that set PKG_USERS and PKG_GROUPS to follow the newjlam1-3/+4
syntax as specified in pkgsrc/mk/install/bsd.pkginstall.mk:1.47.
2006-03-14Modify the pkginstall framework so that it manages all aspects ofjlam1-3/+1
INSTALL/DEINSTALL script creation within pkgsrc. If an INSTALL or DEINSTALL script is found in the package directory, it is automatically used as a template for the pkginstall-generated scripts. If instead, they should be used simply as the full scripts, then the package Makefile should set INSTALL_SRC or DEINSTALL_SRC explicitly, e.g.: INSTALL_SRC= ${PKGDIR}/INSTALL DEINSTALL_SRC= # emtpy As part of the restructuring of the pkginstall framework internals, we now *always* generate temporary INSTALL or DEINSTALL scripts. By comparing these temporary scripts with minimal INSTALL/DEINSTALL scripts formed from only the base templates, we determine whether or not the INSTALL/DEINSTALL scripts are actually needed by the package (see the generate-install-scripts target in bsd.pkginstall.mk). In addition, more variables in the framework have been made private. The *_EXTRA_TMPL variables have been renamed to *_TEMPLATE, which are more sensible names given the very few exported variables in this framework. The only public variables relating to the templates are: INSTALL_SRC INSTALL_TEMPLATE DEINSTALL_SRC DEINSTALL_TEMPLATE HEADER_TEMPLATE The packages in pkgsrc have been modified to reflect the changes in the pkginstall framework.
2006-03-04Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where nojlam1-2/+2
developer is officially maintaining the package. The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by submitting patches to the mailing list). Since the folks most likely to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't developers.
2005-12-29Remove USE_PKGINSTALL from pkgsrc now that mk/install/pkginstall.mkjlam1-2/+1
automatically detects whether we want the pkginstall machinery to be used by the package Makefile.
2005-12-05Fixed pkglint warnings. The warnings are mostly quoting issues, forrillig1-2/+2
example MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR} is changed to MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR:Q}. Some other changes are outlined in http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2005/12/02/0034.html
2005-06-17Create directories before installing files into them.jlam1-1/+2
2005-02-24Add RMD160 digests.agc1-1/+2
2004-12-03Rename ALL_TARGET to BUILD_TARGET for consistency with other *_TARGETs.wiz1-2/+2
Suggested by Roland Illig, ok'd by various.
2004-01-28Web site has moved; updated Makefile to reflect this.jklos1-2/+2
2004-01-20Move WRKSRC definition away from the first paragraph in a Makefile.agc1-2/+2
2003-09-02Nuke definition for INSTALL_EXTRA_TMPL here since INSTALL doesn't exist.jmc1-2/+1
2003-08-30Add definitions for DEINSTALL_EXTRA_TMPL and INSTALL_EXTRA_TMPL ifjlam1-1/+4
USE_PKGINSTALL is "YES". bsd.pkg.install.mk will no longer automatically pick up a INSTALL/DEINSTALL script in the package directory and assume that you want it for the corresponding *_EXTRA_TMPL variable.
2003-08-30Use FILES_SUBST instead of manually tweaking the DEINSTALL script.jlam2-10/+7
2003-07-17s/netbsd.org/NetBSD.org/grant1-2/+2
2003-06-02Use tech-pkg@ in favor of packages@ as MAINTAINER for orphaned packages.jschauma1-2/+2
Should anybody feel like they could be the maintainer for any of thewe packages, please adjust.
2003-03-29Place WRKSRC where it belongs, to make pkglint happy; ok'ed by wiz.jmmv1-2/+2
2003-01-28Instead of including bsd.pkg.install.mk directly in a package Makefile,jlam1-2/+2
have it be automatically included by bsd.pkg.mk if USE_PKGINSTALL is set to "YES". This enforces the requirement that bsd.pkg.install.mk be included at the end of a package Makefile. Idea suggested by Julio M. Merino Vidal <jmmv at menta.net>.
2003-01-13Make post-build target pre-build target to fix build problems.wiz1-2/+2
2002-07-15Added $NetBSD$ tag according to mail from Thomas Klausner on tech-pkg. Someheinz1-0/+5
slight formatting changes.
2002-05-26Cleanup: remove bogus DEINSTALL.out and make sure this gets created inrh2-24/+4
${WRKDIR}, not ${PKGDIR}
2002-05-26Initial import of lambdamoo-1.8.1, a network-accessible, multi-user,rh9-0/+191
programmable, interactive system well-suited to the construction of text-based adventure games, conferencing systems, and other collaborative software. Provided by Ben Collver <collver@linuxfreemail.com>. Together with the previous commits, this closes his PR pkg/13073.
