2014-03-11Remove example rc.d scripts from PLISTs.jperkin1-2/+1
These are now handled dynamically if INIT_SYSTEM is set to "rc.d", or ignored otherwise.
2013-04-06'You can use "foo" instead of "${WRKSRC}/foo".'rodent1-2/+2
2012-10-23Drop superfluous PKG_DESTDIR_SUPPORT, "user-destdir" is default these days.asau1-3/+1
2012-03-07Fix build on SunOS.hans3-4/+15
2010-02-11DESTDIR supportjoerg1-12/+12
2009-06-14Remove @dirrm entries from PLISTsjoerg1-3/+1
2006-09-19Slightly reorder includes to allow it to build on DragonFly (again).joerg2-5/+14
2006-03-04Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where nojlam1-2/+2
developer is officially maintaining the package. The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by submitting patches to the mailing list). Since the folks most likely to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't developers.
2006-01-25Add DragonFly support.joerg4-10/+72
2005-12-29Remove USE_PKGINSTALL from pkgsrc now that mk/install/pkginstall.mkjlam1-2/+1
automatically detects whether we want the pkginstall machinery to be used by the package Makefile.
2005-06-17Create directories before installing files into them.jlam1-1/+3
2005-05-02RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR is no longer customizable.reed1-1/+2
And always is defined as share/examples/rc.d which was the default before. This rc.d scripts are not automatically added to PLISTs now also. So add to each corresponding PLIST as required. This was discussed on tech-pkg in late January and late April. Todo: remove the RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR uses in MESSAGES and elsewhere and remove the RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR itself.
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1
2005-03-07Fix quoting.uebayasi1-2/+2
2005-02-24Add RMD160 digests.agc1-1/+2
2005-02-21Sign over maintainership to tech-pkg@hubertf1-2/+2
2004-12-28The default location of the pkgsrc-installed rc.d scripts is nowreed1-2/+2
under share/examples/rc.d. The variable name already was named RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR. This is from ideas from Greg Woods and others. Also bumped PKGREVISION for all packages using RCD_SCRIPTS mechanism (as requested by wiz).
2004-12-03Rename ALL_TARGET to BUILD_TARGET for consistency with other *_TARGETs.wiz1-2/+2
Suggested by Roland Illig, ok'd by various.
2004-04-23mk/bsd.pkg.install.mk now automatically registersreed1-2/+1
the RCD_SCRIPTS rc.d script(s) to the PLIST. This GENERATE_PLIST idea is part of Greg A. Woods' PR #22954. This helps when the RC_SCRIPTS are installed to a different ${RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR}. (Later, the default RCD_SCRIPTS_EXAMPLEDIR will be changed to be more clear that they are the examples.) These patches also remove the etc/rc.d/ scripts from PLISTs (of packages that use RCD_SCRIPTS). (This also removes now unused references from openssh* makefiles. Note that qmail package has not been changed yet.) I have been doing automatic PLIST registration for RC_SCRIPTS for over a year. Not all of these packages have been tested, but many have been tested and used. Somethings maybe to do: - a few packages still manually install the rc.d scripts to hard-coded etc/rc.d. These need to be fixed. - maybe remove from mk/${OPSYS}.pkg.dist mtree specifications too.

2004-01-19uptimes.wonko.com no longer exists. uptimes.hostingwired.com is the newjklos4-8/+8
server, and has all the data from uptimes.wonko.com.
2003-07-30Use RCD_SCRIPTS from bsd.pkg.install.mk to automatically handle the rc.djmmv3-24/+23
script and convert it to the standard rc.subr format. Bump PKGREVISION to 3.

2003-07-02Convert to PKG_SYSCONFDIR and buildlink2. Bump PKGREVISION to 2.jmmv6-26/+57

2002-05-07Re-Added upclient-4.2.1.23: Keeps track of your server uptimehubertf9-3/+110
Upclient is a program that keeps track of your server uptime, and lets you compare it with the uptime of other (similar) hosts. It consists of two parts, a client- and a serverpart. The client runs on your server and sends the uptime every few minutes to the server. The server collects all data in a table on this site. Package re-added after the service formerly offered by uptimes.net is now again online as http://www.wonko.com/

2001-02-17Update to new COMMENT style: COMMENT var in Makefile instead of pkg/COMMENT.wiz2-2/+2
2001-01-29Add automatic ${VARIABLE} handling for MESSAGE files.wiz2-8/+7
Convert most MESSAGE files to new syntax (${VARIABLE} gets replaced, not @VARIABLE@, nor @@VARIABLE@@). By default, substitutions are done for LOCALBASE, PKGNAME, PREFIX, X11BASE, X11PREFIX; additional patterns can be added via MESSAGE_SUBST. Clean up some packages while I'm there; add RCS tags to most MESSAGEs. Remove some uninteresting MESSAGEs.
