2015-11-02Add SHA512 digests for distfiles for news categoryagc1-1/+2
Existing SHA1 digests verified, all found to be the same on the machine holding the existing distfiles (morden). Existing SHA1 digests retained for now as an audit trail.
2014-12-15The "rename" rule is a published synonym for the "opt" transform rule, howeverjperkin1-2/+2
only the latter is supported by cwrappers. Change them all to "opt" rules for consistency and to gain compatibility with cwrappers.

2012-06-12Add inet6 to default suggested options. It's 2012.wiz1-1/+2
2012-03-04Revert last commit. There is a fundamental problem with the manualtron1-5/+1
page strip logic. This package is fine.
2012-03-03Make sure that we don't strip the ".cat" pages from the package listtron1-1/+5
under NetBSD 6.0 and newer because the package always install it.
2011-02-14Remove HOMEPAGE and MASTER_SITES, it is gone.wiz1-3/+3
2011-01-15Fix build with png-1.5.tron2-30/+44
2011-01-13png shlib name changed for png>=1.5.0, so bump PKGREVISIONs.wiz1-2/+2
2010-12-23Mechanically replace references to graphics/jpeg with the suitabledsainty1-2/+2
alternative from mk/jpeg.buildlink3.mk This allows selection of an alternative jpeg library (namely the x86 MMX, SSE, SSE2 accelerated libjpeg-turbo) via JPEG_DEFAULT=libjpeg-turbo, and follows the current standard model for alternatives (fam, motif, fuse etc). The mechanical edits were applied via the following script: #!/bin/sh for d in */*; do [ -d "$d" ] || continue for i in "$d/"Makefile* "$d/"*.mk; do case "$i" in *.orig|*"*"*) continue;; esac out="$d/x" sed -e 's;graphics/jpeg/buildlink3\.mk;mk/jpeg.buildlink3.mk;g' \ -e 's;BUILDLINK_PREFIX\.jpeg;JPEGBASE;g' \ < "$i" > "$out" if cmp -s "$i" "$out"; then rm -f "$out" else echo "Edited $i" mv -f "$i" "$i.orig" && mv "$out" "$i" fi done done
2010-06-13Bump PKGREVISION for libpng shlib name change.wiz1-2/+2
Also add some patches to remove use of deprecated symbols and fix other problems when looking for or compiling against libpng-1.4.x.
2010-01-18Second try at jpeg-8 recursive PKGREVISION bump.wiz1-2/+2

2008-07-14Mark as destdir ready.joerg1-1/+3
2008-05-25Remove me as maintainer of some package, clame ownership of a few packages.tron1-2/+2
2007-09-07Convert packages that test and use USE_INET6 to use the options frameworkjlam1-3/+8
and to support the "inet6" option instead. Remaining usage of USE_INET6 was solely for the benefit of the scripts that generate the README.html files. Replace: BUILD_DEFS+= USE_INET6 with BUILD_DEFS+= IPV6_READY and teach the README-generation tools to look for that instead. This nukes USE_INET6 from pkgsrc proper. We leave a tiny bit of code to continue to support USE_INET6 for pkgsrc-wip until it has been nuked from there as well.
2007-02-15Modlar Xorg support.joerg1-2/+4
2006-12-15Mechanically replace all includes of buildlink3.mk of the followingjoerg1-2/+2
packages with the modular Xorg equivalent. Those are falling back to the old location by default, so this commmit doesn't change dependencies. graphics/xpm ==> x11/libXpm fonts/Xft2 ==> x11/libXft x11/Xfixes ==> x11/libXfixes x11/xcursor ==> x11/libXcursor x11/Xrender ==> x11/libXrender x11/Xrandr ==> libXrandr
2006-04-17Bump BUILDLINK_ABI_DEPENDS.png and PKGREVISION for png-1.2.9nb2 update.wiz1-2/+2
2006-02-05Recursive revision bump / recommended bump for gettext ABI change.joerg1-2/+2
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1
2005-02-24Add RMD160 digestsagc1-1/+2
2004-10-03Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10tv1-2/+2
in the process. (More information on tech-pkg.) Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and installing .la files. Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above via a buildlink3 include.
2004-04-11Convert to buildlink3.snj1-6/+6
2003-07-17s/netbsd.org/NetBSD.org/grant1-2/+2
2003-04-02Add USE_INET6 to ${BUILD_DEFS}, mainly so that this package gets listed infredb1-2/+2
the top-level "README-IPv6.html".
2003-03-03It's IMAKE_MAN_DIR not IMAKE_MAN_PATH. Sheesh.jschauma1-2/+2
2003-03-03Use new IMAKE_MAN_PATH variables in PLISTs to make these packages morejschauma2-4/+4
portable. Bump PKGREVISION accordingly.
2002-10-21Convert to buildlink2.wiz1-6/+6
2002-03-15Remove a stray semi-colon. The bug might have led to the program coringfredb2-4/+4
when viewing PNG's in low-memory situations.
2002-03-13Binding "Ctl-P" to mime_hack(png,uue) doesn't work, because Ctl-P isfredb2-1/+39
already bound to "scroll up". Leave unshifted Ctl-P and Ctl-N to scroll up and down, but let Shift-Ctl-P display a uuencoded PNG file.
2002-03-13Give all packages which depend on "png" a version bump, and updatefredb1-3/+3
all dependencies on packages depending on "png" which contain shared libraries, all for the (imminent) update to the "png" package. [List courtesy of John Darrow, courtesy of "bulk-build".]
2001-12-02Use wildcard dependence on "faces" package.tron1-2/+2
2001-11-29Get rid of manually adding "nbX" to PKGNAME when a pkg was changed inhubertf1-2/+3
pkgsrc. Instead, a new variable PKGREVISION is invented that can get bumped independent of DISTNAME and PKGNAME. Example #1: DISTNAME= foo-X.Y PKGREVISION= Z => PKGNAME= foo-X.YnbZ Example #2: DISTNAME= barthing-X.Y PKGNAME= bar-X.Y PKGREVISION= Z => PKGNAME= bar=X.YnbZ (!) On subsequent changes, only PKGREVISION needs to be bumped, no more risk of getting DISTNAME changed accidentally.
2001-10-31Move pkg/ files into package's toplevel directoryzuntum3-4/+4
2001-08-15Bump version to 1.0nb7 for a couple of gratuitious changes:fredb5-3/+222
Implement percent ('%') filename expansion in the "pipe" widget of the save/pipe dialog. Especially useful for setting Knews*shellfield.buffer in ${XENVIRONMENT}. Count articles for save/pipe command as "1 of N", "2 of N", and so on.
2001-07-25Solarias has "sendmail" in "/usr/lib" and not in "/usr/sbin".tron2-9/+14
2001-07-24Make this package work under Solaris.tron2-6/+11
2001-05-22Update dependency on png to >=1.0.11 because of the shlib major bump.wiz1-2/+2
Noted by Frederick Bruckman.
2001-04-19Move to sha1 digests, and add distfile sizes.agc1-2/+3
2001-04-17+ move the distfile digest/checksum value from files/md5 to distinfoagc2-4/+2
+ move the patch digest/checksum values from files/patch-sum to distinfo
2001-03-26Update do_png() to no longer use the deprecated "libpng" functions.fredb2-1/+141
"knews" was dumping core when trying to display a PNG image inline, and now it doesn't. Note: "Ctl-P" for UU encoded PNG's is a no-op (unrelated problem). You'll need to have a message with a properly mime-encoded PNG image in order to see do_png() go to work.
2001-03-12Don't try to connect to alternate IP addresses of the news server if thetron3-8/+10
user cancelled the operation. Bump version number to "1.0nb6".
2001-03-10Further improvement of IPv6 patches:tron4-47/+80
- Make IPv6 addresses (not names) work. You still need to specify the port number explicitly in this case. - Fix bug in connection loop which caused PR pkg/12329. The version number is bumped to "1.0nb5".
2001-03-04Because the minor number of the PNG library was increased packages compiledtron1-2/+2
using the newest PNG library won't work on system with an older one. To prevent such problems with precompiled binary packages require at least "png-1.0.9nb1" in all dependences.
2001-02-25Fix another bug in IPv6 support. Bump version number to 1.0nb4.tron3-24/+26
2001-02-24Bump the version number to 1.0nb3 after major rework of IPv6 patch:tron6-74/+107
- No busy loops when connecting to the NNTP server. - Handle multiple records return by getaddrinfo(3) at the proper location. - Avoid unnecessary socket creations and deletions by always passing the correct address family to open_socket().
2001-02-23Add IPv6 support and bump version number to 1.0nb2.tron26-6/+531
