	An extension of TeX which can be configured to directly generate PDF documents instead of DVI. All current TeX distributions including TeX live, MacTeX, and MiKTeX include pdfTeX (Plain TeX) and pdfLaTeX (LaTeX). ConTeXt is designed around use of pdfTeX.
