2007-01-07Mechanically replaced man/* with ${PKGMANDIR}/* in the definition ofrillig1-2/+2
INSTALLATION_DIRS, as well as all occurrences of ${PREFIX}/man with ${PREFIX}/${PKGMANDIR}. Fixes PR 35265, although I did not use the patch provided therein.
2006-07-18Convert _FETCH_MESSAGE to plain old FETCH_MESSAGE. Remove _FETCH_MESSAGEjlam1-7/+7
processing from mk/fetch/*.mk.
2006-05-22Move the check-shlibs target from bsd.pkg.mk to bsd.pkg.check.mk wherejlam1-2/+1
it will live with other "check" targets run after package installation. Get rid of SHLIB_HANDLING, whose meaning had mutated over the years from one thing to another. Currently, it is used to basically note whether the system's "ldd" command can be usefully run on the package's binaries and libraries. Rename this variable to CHECK_SHLIBS_SUPPORTED for more clarity. CHECK_SHLIBS is now a variable set exclusively by the user in /etc/mk.conf to note whether the check for missing run-time search paths is performed after a package is installed. It defaults to "no" unless PKG_DEVELOPER is set.
2006-04-22Removed the superfluous "quotes" and 'quotes' from variables that don'trillig1-2/+2
need them, for example RESTRICTED and SUBST_MESSAGE.*.
2006-03-04Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where nojlam1-2/+2
developer is officially maintaining the package. The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by submitting patches to the mailing list). Since the folks most likely to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't developers.
2006-02-05Recursive revision bump / recommended bump for gettext ABI change.joerg1-1/+2
2005-12-12First step at reworking Linux binary packages.joerg1-3/+7
Change most pkgs to depend on either emulators/suse_linux/Makefile.application (normal pkgs) or Makefile.common (suse91 and suse themselves) to filter out Operating Systems without Linux ABI support. Use CPU masks to limit the pkg to supported platforms.
2005-09-28Replaced "# defined" with "yes" in Makefile variables like GNU_CONFIGURE,rillig1-3/+3
NO_BUILD, USE_LIBTOOL.
2005-06-17Create directories before installing files into them.jlam1-1/+3
2005-02-24Add RMD160 digests.agc1-1/+2
2004-09-22Mechanical changes to package PLISTs to make use of LIBTOOLIZE_PLIST.jlam1-7/+1
All library names listed by *.la files no longer need to be listed in the PLIST, e.g., instead of: lib/libfoo.a lib/libfoo.la lib/libfoo.so lib/libfoo.so.0 lib/libfoo.so.0.1 one simply needs: lib/libfoo.la and bsd.pkg.mk will automatically ensure that the additional library names are listed in the installed package +CONTENTS file. Also make LIBTOOLIZE_PLIST default to "yes".
2004-05-07Reset maintainer to tech-pkg@ (from ad@, since he is not working on themwiz1-2/+2
any longer).
2004-01-20Move WRKSRC definition away from the first paragraph in a Makefile.agc1-2/+2
2003-07-17s/netbsd.org/NetBSD.org/grant1-2/+2
2003-04-10make usage of pax more consistent, use -O to bomb on broken archivesgrant1-2/+2
(suggested by lukem), group z, r and f flags. some whitespace cleanup.
2003-04-10make ${PAX} usage consistent:grant1-3/+3
- group 'zrw' and 'p' args, -s last - use the && operator consistently - strip unneeded parens - some whitespace cleanup
2003-03-26De-confusify: Let emulators/suse_*/Makefile.* _not_ include bsd.pkg.mk, but ↵jschauma1-2/+2
rather make all packages that use linux emulation include bsd.pkg.mk as the last files just like any normal package.
2002-12-09Mention sysutils/dptutil.ad1-0/+3
2002-07-03This package (sysutils/storage-manager) has an interactive fetch stage, soagc1-1/+2
mark it as such, and enable this package in the category Makefile. With thanks to Dan McMahill for pointing this out.
2002-05-29eplace STRIPFLAG with _STRIPFLAG_INSTALL to fix pkg/15467.yyamano1-2/+2
2002-04-04Use "suse_linux/Makefile.application" to pick correct SuSE packages.tron1-5/+6
2002-03-04Generalize the handling for packages where "fetch" and "fetch-list"fredb1-10/+1
only emit a message and don't actually fetch anything. This allows us to make the output of "fetch-list" for these packages consistent with other packages. While we're in here, integrate DYNAMIC_MASTER_SITES with the ${ORDERED_SITES} macro. The only functional change here is that ${MASTER_SITE_OVERRIDE} is now respected. Still to do -- something appropriate for "fetch-list" for these packages, like sourcing "getsites.sh" into the generated script. (Well, "package", but there are two others that do something similar in their "Makefile".) Also eliminate the misbegotten _FETCH_ALLFILES macro -- now that only "fetch" uses it, move it's functionality directly under "do-fetch".
2002-02-26Wherever "make fetch" simply echos a message, let "make fetch-list|sh"fredb1-6/+12
echo the message, too.
2001-10-31Move pkg/ files into package's toplevel directoryzuntum2-1/+1
