2005-06-01Remove mk/autoconf.mk and mk/automake.mk and replace their usage withjlam1-4/+3
USE_TOOLS and any of "autoconf", "autoconf213", "automake" or "automake14". Also, we don't need to call the auto* tools via ${ACLOCAL}, ${AUTOCONF}, etc., since the tools framework takes care to symlink the correct tool to the correct name, so we can just use aclocal, autoconf, etc.
2005-06-01Massive cleanup of buildlink3.mk and builtin.mk files in pkgsrc.jlam41-95/+141
Several changes are involved since they are all interrelated. These changes affect about 1000 files. The first major change is rewriting bsd.builtin.mk as well as all of the builtin.mk files to follow the new example in bsd.builtin.mk. The loop to include all of the builtin.mk files needed by the package is moved from bsd.builtin.mk and into bsd.buildlink3.mk. bsd.builtin.mk is now included by each of the individual builtin.mk files and provides some common logic for all of the builtin.mk files. Currently, this includes the computation for whether the native or pkgsrc version of the package is preferred. This causes USE_BUILTIN.* to be correctly set when one builtin.mk file includes another. The second major change is teach the builtin.mk files to consider files under ${LOCALBASE} to be from pkgsrc-controlled packages. Most of the builtin.mk files test for the presence of built-in software by checking for the existence of certain files, e.g. <pthread.h>, and we now assume that if that file is under ${LOCALBASE}, then it must be from pkgsrc. This modification is a nod toward LOCALBASE=/usr. The exceptions to this new check are the X11 distribution packages, which are handled specially as noted below. The third major change is providing builtin.mk and version.mk files for each of the X11 distribution packages in pkgsrc. The builtin.mk file can detect whether the native X11 distribution is the same as the one provided by pkgsrc, and the version.mk file computes the version of the X11 distribution package, whether it's built-in or not. The fourth major change is that the buildlink3.mk files for X11 packages that install parts which are part of X11 distribution packages, e.g. Xpm, Xcursor, etc., now use imake to query the X11 distribution for whether the software is already provided by the X11 distribution. This is more accurate than grepping for a symbol name in the imake config files. Using imake required sprinkling various builtin-imake.mk helper files into pkgsrc directories. These files are used as input to imake since imake can't use stdin for that purpose. The fifth major change is in how packages note that they use X11. Instead of setting USE_X11, package Makefiles should now include x11.buildlink3.mk instead. This causes the X11 package buildlink3 and builtin logic to be executed at the correct place for buildlink3.mk and builtin.mk files that previously set USE_X11, and fixes packages that relied on buildlink3.mk files to implicitly note that X11 is needed. Package buildlink3.mk should also include x11.buildlink3.mk when linking against the package libraries requires also linking against the X11 libraries. Where it was obvious, redundant inclusions of x11.buildlink3.mk have been removed.
2005-05-31Fix build on DragonFly (errno conflicts).jmmv2-1/+16
Patch provided by Joerg Sonnenberger in private mail.
2005-05-31Packages have no business modifying PKG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS -- it's adillo1-2/+2

2005-05-30Update to logrot 1.7.lukem2-7/+11
Notable changes: * Add --with-pidfile to allow override the path to syslogd's pidfile. * Update my email address. * Remove advertising clause from my license. Use --with-pidfile when building on NetBSD so that chroot/sandbox builds default to the correct path for syslogd.pid.
2005-05-28Add missing dependences on "libao", "libmad" and "libvorbis" for fulltron1-2/+5

2005-05-28Add and enable dirsize.minskim1-1/+2
2005-05-28Import dirsize from pkgsrc-wip. Packaged by Leonard Schmidt.minskim5-0/+49
This tool simply outputs the aggregate size of all files in one or more directories, defaulting to the current directory. It does not recurse. The tool's primary purpose is for use with the shell prompt.
2005-05-27- Update cdrdao to 1.2.0adrianp2-6/+6

2005-05-25Add and enable fatbackagc1-1/+2
2005-05-25Initial import of fatback-1.3 into the Packages Collection.agc6-0/+79
Taken from a posting by Wolfgang S. Rupprecht to netbsd-users on April 26th. Fatback is a forensic tool for undeleting files from FAT file systems. Fatback is different from other undelete tools in that it does the following: * Runs under UNIX environments * Can undelete files automatically * Supports Long File Names * Supports FAT12, FAT16, and FAT32 * Powerful interactive mode * Recursively undeletes deleted directories * Recovers lost cluster chains * Works with single partitions or whole disks

Ok'd by jmmv@ and rh@ (gnome 1 maintainers).
2005-05-18Bump BUILDLINK_RECOMMENDED.gnome-vfs2 to gnome-vfs2>=2.10.1. Itsreed1-2/+2
dependency gnutls had an SONAME change, so 2.10.0 could have been built before and after this and so could have two diffferent packages with same package name. This happened a couple weeks ago. The update for gnome-vfs2 2.10.1 happened after this. (I never checked other software that may use libgnutls.)
2005-05-18update to 0.7.22drochner2-6/+6
changes: * vcdxrip: add option "notrack" to skip ripping of a specific track * vcd-info: single argument acts like -i option * some stylistic coding changes (e.g. add _t suffix and p_ prefix) * fix clobbering a version number via strncpy * Add libvcdinfo example program * Memory leaks and errors reduced

2005-05-17Ensure that DJB_ERRNO_HACK and any other configure-time actionsschmonz1-4/+6
apply, by setting ${WRKSRC} appropriately during the "configure" phase. This had been the only usage of DJB_CONFIG_DIR. Fixes build on glibc>=2.3.1 systems, otherwise no visible change.
2005-05-17Upgrade to lsof version 4.75, thereby getting rid of most of theatatat4-76/+7
accumulated patches. Changes related to or affecting NetBSD (or pkgsrc) from the 00DIST file: 4.75 May 16, 2005 ... Improved the BSDI, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD and Solaris kvm_open() and kvm_openfiles() error messages. Enabled support for NetBSD 2.99.12. Also, add the "uname -r" value to the lsof package version. This means that lintpkgsrc will report the lsof package as being out of date if you update your kernel without updating lsof. It's entirely likely that lsof will continue to work, but it might not (and it will warn you anyway), but it's nice to know that it might be good to rebuild it.
2005-05-16Add and enable burnrh1-1/+2
2005-05-16Initial import of burn-0.4.0, a GNUstep based CD burning program.rh4-0/+480
2005-05-16Change the EXTRACT_USING_PAX defined/undefined option into a EXTRACT_USINGjlam1-6/+2
which can take multiple values -- "pax" or "gtar". The default value of EXTRACT_USING is "pax", which more closely matches reality since before, we were using bootstrap "tar" for ${GTAR} and it was actually pax-as-tar. Also, stop pretending pax-as-tar from the bootstrap kit or on NetBSD is GNU tar. Lastly, in bsd.pkg.extract.mk, note whether we need "pax" or "gtar" depending on what we need to extract the distfiles.
2005-05-16Note that tar is required by this package.jlam1-1/+2
2005-05-16Note that gtar is required by the package.jlam2-2/+8
2005-05-15Note where gzip or gunzip is required by the package since it isn'tjlam1-1/+2
required by default any longer in bsd.pkg.mk under the new tools framework.
