2003-01-02The lib/pkgconfig has been added to the list of standard directories, so dojmmv1-2/+1
not try to remove it, even if empty.
2002-11-06Upon approval by Martti Kuparinen downgrade the "libxml2" package totron3-13/+7
version 2.4.25. Version 2.4.26 has just too many bugs which e.g. break building the KDE 2 desktop. This fixes PR pkg/18873 by myself.

2002-08-25Merge changes in packages from the buildlink2 branch that havejlam6-9/+33
buildlink2.mk files back into the main trunk. This provides sufficient buildlink2 infrastructure to start merging other packages from the buildlink2 branch that have already been converted to use the buildlink2 framework.

2002-05-17Updated libxml2 to 2.4.21 (only bug fixes according to ChangeLog)martti5-43/+52
2002-04-28Some programs don't look in libxml/headername.h, and even libxml itselfwiz1-2/+2
does not create the directory (any longer?). Be a bit defensive about this and add -I${BUILDLINK_DIR}/include/libxml to BUILDLINK_CONFIG_WRAPPER_SED, while letting -I${BUILDLINK_DIR}/include stay, too. XXX: This should be revisited, and the packages depending on libxml2 be fixed (either way); for now, this change fixes libwmf, ogle, and ogle_gui (and perhaps others), while not changing the situation for kdelibs2 (which I didn't want to test because it's too big). Per a discussion with Johnny Lam.

2001-12-10update libxml2 package to 2.4.12.taca3-9/+11
Changes from 2.4.10 are various bug fixes and it become over 4000 bytes. Please look at libxml2-2.4.12/ChangeLog in detail.
2001-11-29Get rid of manually adding "nbX" to PKGNAME when a pkg was changed inhubertf1-2/+2
pkgsrc. Instead, a new variable PKGREVISION is invented that can get bumped independent of DISTNAME and PKGNAME. Example #1: DISTNAME= foo-X.Y PKGREVISION= Z => PKGNAME= foo-X.YnbZ Example #2: DISTNAME= barthing-X.Y PKGNAME= bar-X.Y PKGREVISION= Z => PKGNAME= bar=X.YnbZ (!) On subsequent changes, only PKGREVISION needs to be bumped, no more risk of getting DISTNAME changed accidentally.
2001-11-17Work arround broken circular include directives which cause build failurestron4-2/+27
in the "kdelibs2" package.
2001-11-16Uppdate "libxml2" package to version 2.4.10. Changes since version 2.4.6:tron3-7/+9

2001-10-17Update libxml2 to 2.4.6. Changes from version 2.4.5 include bug fixes,jlam5-25/+11
minor API enhancements, and updated documentation.
2001-10-03bsd.buildlink.mk will automatically handle the REPLACE_BUILDLINK stuff, sojlam1-3/+1
we can remove REPLACE_BUILDLINK settings containing *-config, *Conf.sh, and *.pc.
2001-10-03Substitute the real config script for the config wrapper script injlam1-1/+3
installed files. We don't want buildlink references to escape into the install directory.
2001-09-26Remove unused patch since update from libxml2-2.4.2 to 2.4.5.jlam1-13/+0
2001-09-26Update libxml2 to 2.4.5. Relevant changes from version 2.4.2 include:jlam6-52/+36
* Bug fixes. * Do not output hexadecimal charrefs when serializing HTML since some version of Netscape can't grok it, generate decimal ones. * Moved includes to includedir/libxml2/libxml. * Added a --convert option to xmlcatalog to convert SGML ones to the XML syntax. * Added a catalog PI.
2001-09-14Actually, "xml2-config --cflags" should read:jlam2-4/+4
-I/usr/pkg/include/libxml2/libxml -I/usr/pkg/include/libxml2 so that the libxml2 headers may be found as either <...> or <libxml/...>.
2001-09-14Fix the problem noted by Ben Collver <collver@linuxfreemail.com> injlam4-10/+19
pkg/13929 where xml2-config lies about the location of the libxml2 headers. "xml2-config --cflags" now returns: -I/usr/pkg/include/libxml2/libxml -I/usr/pkg/include which correctly finds the libxml2 headers. When using buildlink, the config wrapper xml2-config returns: -I${BUILDLINK_DIR}/include/libxml -I/usr/pkg/include which correctly finds the libxml2 headers in their buildlinked locations.
2001-08-31Make libxml2 appear in the normal location so that pkgs don't have toskrll1-1/+3
touched to find the includes/libraries.
2001-08-24Update to 2.4.2, provided by Martti Kuparinen in pkg/13741.wiz8-78/+37
Changes: Bugfixes and speedups, details at http://xmlsoft.org (News).
2001-08-17If USE_CONFIG_WRAPPER is defined (implied by USE_BUILDLINK_ONLY), thenjlam1-2/+3
set FOO_CONFIG=${BUILDLINK_CONFIG_WRAPPER.foo} in both CONFIGURE_ENV and MAKE_ENV. We remove the check for GNU_CONFIGURE because if a package Makefile includes the buildlink.mk file, then it most likely wants to use the config script wrappers as well. Change suggested by Hubert Feyrer (hubertf) and Tomasz Luchowski (zuntum).
2001-07-27Add dir_DEFAULT setting used by EVAL_PREFIX logic to set the defaultjlam1-1/+2
installation directory in case the package isn't installed.
2001-07-20Mechanical changes to buildlink.mk files to use EVAL_PREFIX to setjlam1-4/+6
BUILDLINK_PREFIX.<pkgname>. This allows buildlink to find X11BASE packages regardless of whether they were installed before or after xpkgwedge was installed. Idea by Alistair Crooks <agc@pkgsrc.org>.
2001-07-02Allow overriding of *_CONFIG variables in a package Makefile when usingjlam1-2/+3
USE_BUILDLINK_ONLY.
