2002-08-26Updated libxml to 1.8.17martti5-17/+17
* parserold.c (xmlOldParseAttValue): Ensure you've got enough characters in your readahead buffer before you check NXT(1). * tree.c (xmlStaticCopyNode) : back port a fix from xml2 to correctly namespace copied nodes.
2002-08-25Merge changes in packages from the buildlink2 branch that havejlam3-4/+26
buildlink2.mk files back into the main trunk. This provides sufficient buildlink2 infrastructure to start merging other packages from the buildlink2 branch that have already been converted to use the buildlink2 framework.
2002-07-14Add missing includes in libxml subdirectoryrh1-2/+3
2002-07-02Remove duplicate empty line.wiz1-2/+1
2002-03-26Add buildlink wrapper for gnome-1.0 so this actually works on systemsrh1-2/+6
without xpkgwedge, where it is not picked up "by accident" by another gnome wrapper.
2002-02-03This pkgs uses a newer libtool which means we need LIBTOOL_OVERRIDE notskrll1-2/+2
LTCONFIG_OVERRIDE. From Eric Schnoebelen <eric@cirr.com> in pkg/15472
2002-01-13patthern -> patternwiz1-2/+2
2001-10-31Move pkg/ files into package's toplevel directoryzuntum2-1/+1
2001-10-03Substitute the real config script for the config wrapper script injlam1-1/+3
installed files. We don't want buildlink references to escape into the install directory.
2001-09-30Update libxml to 1.8.16. Changes are memory management improvements andrh4-15/+15
bugfixes.
2001-08-17If USE_CONFIG_WRAPPER is defined (implied by USE_BUILDLINK_ONLY), thenjlam1-2/+3
set FOO_CONFIG=${BUILDLINK_CONFIG_WRAPPER.foo} in both CONFIGURE_ENV and MAKE_ENV. We remove the check for GNU_CONFIGURE because if a package Makefile includes the buildlink.mk file, then it most likely wants to use the config script wrappers as well. Change suggested by Hubert Feyrer (hubertf) and Tomasz Luchowski (zuntum).
2001-08-11Update libxml to 1.8.14. Changes are bugfixes only.rh3-7/+7
2001-07-27Add dir_DEFAULT setting used by EVAL_PREFIX logic to set the defaultjlam1-1/+2
installation directory in case the package isn't installed.
2001-07-20Mechanical changes to buildlink.mk files to use EVAL_PREFIX to setjlam1-4/+4
BUILDLINK_PREFIX.<pkgname>. This allows buildlink to find X11BASE packages regardless of whether they were installed before or after xpkgwedge was installed. Idea by Alistair Crooks <agc@pkgsrc.org>.
2001-07-02Allow overriding of *_CONFIG variables in a package Makefile when usingjlam1-2/+3
USE_BUILDLINK_ONLY.
2001-07-01Move inclusion of bsd.buildlink.mk to start of file.jlam1-3/+3
2001-06-23Generalize how the dependency pattern may be specified. Instead of justjlam1-4/+5
FOO_REQD=1.0 being converted to foo>=1.0, one can now directly specify the dependency pattern as FOO_DEPENDS=foo>=1.0. This allows things like JPEG_DEPENDS=jpeg-6b, or fancier expressions like for postgresql-lib. Change existing FOO_REQD definitions in Makefiles to FOO_DEPENDS.
2001-06-19Add buildlink.mk file for use by other package Makefilesjlam1-0/+44
2001-06-19Mark as USE_BUILDLINK_ONLY.jlam1-1/+2
2001-06-11CPPFLAGS is now passed to MAKE_ENV and CONFIGURE_ENV by bsd.pkg.mk, sojlam1-2/+1
adapt by moving CPPFLAGS settings to top-level, and removing explicit inclusion of CPPFLAGS into MAKE_ENV and CONFIGURE_ENV.
2001-06-11The buildlink include and lib directories are added to CFLAGS, CPPFLAGS,jlam1-6/+2
CXXFLAGS, and LDFLAGS by the buildlink.mk files so remove the extra definitions to add them from the package Makefiles. As advised by the bsd.buildlink.mk file, also ensure that the buildlink.mk files are included prior to defining any package-specific CFLAGS/LDFLAGS to ensure that the buildlink directories are at the head of the compiler search paths.
2001-05-26Use zlib's buildlink.mk to get dependency on zlib if needed.jlam1-6/+7
2001-05-21Update libxml to 1.8.13. Changes are mainly bugfixes, most notably a bugrh4-16/+18
that let malformed input data cause endless loops.
2001-04-20Move to sha1 digests, and add distfile sizes.skrll1-2/+3
2001-04-17+ move the distfile digest/checksum value from files/md5 to distinfoagc3-8/+6
+ move the patch digest/checksum values from files/patch-sum to distinfo
2001-03-10update to 1.8.11.drochner6-18/+31
No changelog found, but 1.8.10 isn't available on the distribution site anymore.
2001-02-17Update to new COMMENT style: COMMENT var in Makefile instead of pkg/COMMENT.wiz2-2/+2
2001-01-04The way that shared objects were handled in the PLISTs and bsd.pkg.mk wasagc1-1/+3
out of date - it was based on a.out OBJECT_FMT, and added entries in the generated PLISTs to reflect the symlinks that ELF packages uses. It also tried to be clever, and removed and recreated any symbolic links that were created, which has resulted in some fun, especially with packages which use dlopen(3) to load modules. Some recent changes to our ld.so to bring it more into line with other Operating Systems also exposed some cracks. + Modify bsd.pkg.mk and its shared object handling, so that PLISTs now contain the ELF symlinks. + Don't mess about with file system entries when handling shared objects in bsd.pkg.mk, since it's likely that libtool and the BSD *.mk processing will have got it right, and have a much better idea than we do. + Modify PLISTs to contain "ELF symlinks" + On a.out platforms, delete any "ELF symlinks" from the generated PLISTs + On ELF platforms, no extra processing needs to be done in bsd.pkg.mk + Modify print-PLIST target in bsd.pkg.mk to add dummy symlink entries on a.out platforms + Update the documentation in Packages.txt With many thanks to Thomas Klausner for keeping me honest with this.
2000-10-17Update libxml to 0.8.10. Changes from 0.8.9 fix some GNOME-related bugs:jlam3-6/+6
* entities.c: added missing tests for doc == NULL as pointed by Michael. * tree.c : return content from CDATA sections when asking for node content
2000-07-15Update libxml to 1.8.9. Changes from 1.8.7 are bugfixes and some modsjlam5-12/+12
for convergence between libxml and libxml2 (the development lib).
2000-06-20Remove unnecessary patch now that we USE_LIBTOOL.jlam1-15/+0
2000-06-20USE_LIBTOOL instead of PKGLIBTOOL; sort PLIST.jlam3-36/+37
2000-06-01s/USE_LIBTOOL/USE_PKGLIBTOOL/rh1-2/+2
Add a new USE_LIBTOOL definition that uses the libtool package instead of pkglibtool which is now considered outdated. USE_PKGLIBTOOL is available for backwards compatibility with old packages but is deprecated for new packages.

2000-05-30Update libxml to 1.8.7. Changes are mainly bugfixes.rh5-14/+16
2000-05-02Remove patches to deal with two bugs involving configure's handling ofdanw2-16/+3
INSTALL which have both been worked around in bsd.pkg.mk now.
2000-01-26Don't attempt to build test programs. They would either require thetron2-1/+15
"readline" library or patches to make them work with our "edit" library but they aren't installed anyway.
