From ae9b935fd018aee0bd2410c581458d429b05b38b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: jlam Date: Thu, 25 Oct 2007 22:00:39 +0000 Subject: * If PLIST_SRC is explicitly set to an empty value in a package Makefile, then automatically generate a PLIST that says "${PKGNAME} has no files". * If PLIST_SRC and GENERATE_PLIST are not set in a package Makefile, and no PLIST files exist, then fail during the package build with PKG_FAIL_REASON. * Remove "intentionally empty" PLISTs again. Now, the easy way to say that a package installs no files is to just add the following to the package Makefile: PLIST_SRC= # empty --- archivers/gtar/Makefile | 3 ++- archivers/gtar/PLIST | 2 -- 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) delete mode 100644 archivers/gtar/PLIST (limited to 'archivers/gtar') diff --git a/archivers/gtar/Makefile b/archivers/gtar/Makefile index 3fcbeca7e61..6c06542f2bf 100644 --- a/archivers/gtar/Makefile +++ b/archivers/gtar/Makefile @@ -1,4 +1,4 @@ -# $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.32 2006/03/04 21:28:52 jlam Exp $ +# $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.33 2007/10/25 22:00:39 jlam Exp $ DISTNAME= gtar-1.15.1 PKGREVISION= 1 @@ -19,6 +19,7 @@ EXTRACT_ONLY= # empty NO_CHECKSUM= yes NO_CONFIGURE= yes NO_BUILD= yes +PLIST_SRC= # empty (meta-package) do-install: # empty diff --git a/archivers/gtar/PLIST b/archivers/gtar/PLIST deleted file mode 100644 index 0426b4fdc86..00000000000 --- a/archivers/gtar/PLIST +++ /dev/null @@ -1,2 +0,0 @@ -@comment $NetBSD: PLIST,v 1.3 2007/10/25 17:49:45 jlam Exp $ -@comment this plist intentionally left empty -- cgit v1.2.3
