From 82a5c996910401ca35fb281db4becea03c8cb0d8 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: jlam Date: Sat, 6 Aug 2005 06:25:12 +0000 Subject: Import databases/postgresql80-plpython-8.0.3. PL/Python allows you to write functions in the Python programming language that may be used in SQL queries as if they were built into Postgres. The PL/Python intepreter is a full Python interpreter. PL/Python is currently only available as an "untrusted" language (meaning it does not offer any way of restricting what users can do in it). It has therefore been named "plpythonu". The trusted variant plpython may become available again in future, if a new secure execution mechanism is developed in Python. --- databases/postgresql80-plpython/DESCR | 9 +++++++++ databases/postgresql80-plpython/MESSAGE | 17 +++++++++++++++++ databases/postgresql80-plpython/Makefile | 21 +++++++++++++++++++++ databases/postgresql80-plpython/PLIST | 2 ++ 4 files changed, 49 insertions(+) create mode 100644 databases/postgresql80-plpython/DESCR create mode 100644 databases/postgresql80-plpython/MESSAGE create mode 100644 databases/postgresql80-plpython/Makefile create mode 100644 databases/postgresql80-plpython/PLIST (limited to 'databases/postgresql80-plpython') diff --git a/databases/postgresql80-plpython/DESCR b/databases/postgresql80-plpython/DESCR new file mode 100644 index 00000000000..142bb15309d --- /dev/null +++ b/databases/postgresql80-plpython/DESCR @@ -0,0 +1,9 @@ +PL/Python allows you to write functions in the Python programming +language that may be used in SQL queries as if they were built into +Postgres.
