From ae9b935fd018aee0bd2410c581458d429b05b38b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: jlam Date: Thu, 25 Oct 2007 22:00:39 +0000 Subject: * If PLIST_SRC is explicitly set to an empty value in a package Makefile, then automatically generate a PLIST that says "${PKGNAME} has no files". * If PLIST_SRC and GENERATE_PLIST are not set in a package Makefile, and no PLIST files exist, then fail during the package build with PKG_FAIL_REASON. * Remove "intentionally empty" PLISTs again. Now, the easy way to say that a package installs no files is to just add the following to the package Makefile: PLIST_SRC= # empty --- editors/emacs-packages/Makefile | 3 ++- editors/emacs-packages/PLIST | 2 -- 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) delete mode 100644 editors/emacs-packages/PLIST (limited to 'editors') diff --git a/editors/emacs-packages/Makefile b/editors/emacs-packages/Makefile index 1b938850629..7d3a6fea15d 100644 --- a/editors/emacs-packages/Makefile +++ b/editors/emacs-packages/Makefile @@ -1,4 +1,4 @@ -# $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.20 2006/10/09 01:07:07 rillig Exp $ +# $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.21 2007/10/25 22:00:43 jlam Exp $ DISTNAME= emacs-packages-0.7 CATEGORIES= meta-pkgs editors @@ -70,6 +70,7 @@ EXTRACT_ONLY= # empty NO_CHECKSUM= yes NO_CONFIGURE= yes NO_BUILD= yes +PLIST_SRC= # empty (meta-package) do-install: # empty diff --git a/editors/emacs-packages/PLIST b/editors/emacs-packages/PLIST deleted file mode 100644 index 389bce243b1..00000000000 --- a/editors/emacs-packages/PLIST +++ /dev/null @@ -1,2 +0,0 @@ -@comment $NetBSD: PLIST,v 1.3 2007/10/25 17:49:47 jlam Exp $ -@comment this plist intentionally left empty -- cgit v1.2.3
