From ae9b935fd018aee0bd2410c581458d429b05b38b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: jlam Date: Thu, 25 Oct 2007 22:00:39 +0000 Subject: * If PLIST_SRC is explicitly set to an empty value in a package Makefile, then automatically generate a PLIST that says "${PKGNAME} has no files". * If PLIST_SRC and GENERATE_PLIST are not set in a package Makefile, and no PLIST files exist, then fail during the package build with PKG_FAIL_REASON. * Remove "intentionally empty" PLISTs again. Now, the easy way to say that a package installs no files is to just add the following to the package Makefile: PLIST_SRC= # empty --- x11/xview/Makefile | 3 ++- x11/xview/PLIST | 2 -- 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) delete mode 100644 x11/xview/PLIST (limited to 'x11/xview') diff --git a/x11/xview/Makefile b/x11/xview/Makefile index 747a4d69664..48a902fa109 100644 --- a/x11/xview/Makefile +++ b/x11/xview/Makefile @@ -1,4 +1,4 @@ -# $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.21 2007/02/22 19:27:29 wiz Exp $ +# $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.22 2007/10/25 22:01:10 jlam Exp $ # DISTNAME= xview3.2p1-X11R6 @@ -23,6 +23,7 @@ EXTRACT_ONLY= # empty NO_CHECKSUM= yes NO_BUILD= yes NO_CONFIGURE= yes +PLIST_SRC= # empty (meta-package) do-install: # empty diff --git a/x11/xview/PLIST b/x11/xview/PLIST deleted file mode 100644 index 6b40df15634..00000000000 --- a/x11/xview/PLIST +++ /dev/null @@ -1,2 +0,0 @@ -@comment $NetBSD: PLIST,v 1.3 2007/10/25 17:50:01 jlam Exp $ -@comment this plist intentionally left empty -- cgit v1.2.3
