2008-03-25Remove suse-9.1 emulation packages.wiz5-193/+0
They are long outdated and not maintained upstream. Update infrastructure for their removal. Removal was announced on pkgsrc-users on March 13.
2007-08-22When testing for the existence of the symlink before removal, usejlam2-4/+6
"test -h", not "test -e" which tests for the existence of the target of the symlink. Bump the PKGREVISIONs of suse100_vmware and suse91_vmware.
2007-07-30Assume that the +ROOT_ACTIONS script is always executed from thejlam1-2/+2
current working directory. This should fix problems installing the suse*_base and suse*_vmware packages as a privileged user. When this package is installed as a privileged user, the +ROOT_ACTIONS script is executed from ${WRKDIR}/.pkginstall before the package metadata directory exists.
2007-07-29* Add new emulator framework in pkgsrc/mk/emulator that handles alljlam6-55/+178
binary-only packages that require binary "emulation" on the native operating system. Please see pkgsrc/mk/emulator/README for more details. * Teach the plist framework to automatically use any existing PLIST.${EMUL_PLATFORM} as part of the default PLIST_SRC definition. * Convert all of the binary-only packages in pkgsrc to use the emulator framework. Most of them have been tested to install and deinstall correctly. This involves the following cleanup actions: * Remove use of custom PLIST code and use PLIST.${EMUL_PLATFORM} more consistently. * Simplify packages by using default INSTALL and DEINSTALL scripts instead of custom INSTALL/DEINSTALL code. * Remove "SUSE_COMPAT32" and "PKG_OPTIONS.suse" from pkgsrc. Packages only need to state exactly which emulations they support, and the framework handles any i386-on-x86_64 or sparc-on-sparc64 uses. * Remove "USE_NATIVE_LINUX" from pkgsrc. The framework will automatically detect when the package is installing on Linux. Specific changes to packages include: * Bump the PKGREVISIONs for all of the suse100* and suse91* packages due to changes in the +INSTALL/+DEINSTALL scripts used in all of the packages. * Remove pkgsrc/emulators/suse_linux, which is unused by any packages. * cad/lc -- remove custom code to create the distinfo file for all supported platforms; just use "emul-fetch" and "emul-distinfo" instead. * lang/Cg-compiler -- install the shared libraries under ${EMULDIR} instead of ${PREFIX}/lib so that compiled programs will find the shared libraries. * mail/thunderbird-bin-nightly -- update to latest binary distributions for supported platforms. * multimedia/ns-flash -- update Linux version to 9.0.48 as the older version is no longer available for interactive fetch. * security/uvscan -- set LD_LIBRARY_PATH explicitly so that it's not necessary to install library symlinks into ${EMULDIR}/usr/local/lib. * www/firefox-bin-flash -- update Linux version to 9.0.48 as the older version is no longer available for interactive fetch.

2006-06-30We really, really, really _don't_ want open dependencies here.salo1-4/+4
Also, resolve some missing interdependencies while I am here.
2006-03-04Point MAINTAINER to pkgsrc-users@NetBSD.org in the case where nojlam1-2/+2
developer is officially maintaining the package. The rationale for changing this from "tech-pkg" to "pkgsrc-users" is that it implies that any user can try to maintain the package (by submitting patches to the mailing list). Since the folks most likely to care about the package are the folks that want to use it or are already using it, this would leverage the energy of users who aren't developers.
2006-02-05Recursive revision bump / recommended bump for gettext ABI change.joerg1-1/+2
2005-12-12First step at reworking Linux binary packages.joerg1-3/+1
Change most pkgs to depend on either emulators/suse_linux/Makefile.application (normal pkgs) or Makefile.common (suse91 and suse themselves) to filter out Operating Systems without Linux ABI support. Use CPU masks to limit the pkg to supported platforms.
2005-12-05Fixed pkglint warnings. The warnings are mostly quoting issues, forrillig1-2/+2
example MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR} is changed to MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR:Q}. Some other changes are outlined in http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2005/12/02/0034.html
2005-04-11Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used.tv1-2/+1
2005-04-02remove /etc/mtab, it's part of suse91_basejdolecek1-2/+2

2005-04-02Add suse91_vmware - the SuSE 9.1 -based variant of suse_vmware, neededjdolecek5-0/+69
for vmware and vmware3 packages. Based on suse_vmware, with the unnecessary bits removed. Package provided by Robert Elz in PR pkg/29561, but added grep RPM, which was found necessary too.
