2003-07-27Introduce the MPLAYER_DISABLE_DRIVERS variable, which holds a list of "drivers"jmmv1-5/+4
that are not wanted in the binary program. It is empty by default, so that all drivers are linked in to get a full featured binary package. Packages using this variable include mplayer and gmplayer. While building mencoder, disable all of these drivers, as they are not needed. Bump PKGREVISION. arts is now a enabled if not present in the variable. This detail closes PR pkg/21775 by Marc Recht.

We don't provide FIONREAD for /dev/audio, so use the seek field from AUDIO_GETINFO instead. XXX: by my calculations, the number of samples in seek should be multiplied by the sample size to get number of bytes to read, but this results in mencoder being very choppy, presumably because its blocking for audio. I've left the multiplication in the patch, commented out. The present patch works just fine, so probably my calculations are wrong. This bumps all of the mplayer variants, because -tv -dumpaudio might be used even with the players.

2003-01-20The ${CFLAGS} fix-up in Makefile.cflags must come after everything, evenfredb1-2/+2
bsd.pkg.mk, to completely master all CFLAGS settings. This fixes the build in the MPLAYER_ENABLE_RUNTIME_CPU_DETECTION=NO case (PR pkg/19946). This isn't the only way this package wantonly disregards buildlink's rule. In any case, binary packages are still problematic, even with the runtime detection, as one of the dependencies (audio/faad2) may not be distributed as a binary.

NetBSD-1.5.*, so pull in the build-time dependency on binutils and gcc conditionally on the version reported by ${AS}. For that case, set ${GCC_EXEC_PREFIX} in the build environment, and pass in an "--as=" argument to "configure", to make absolutely sure the new "gas" gets used.
2002-04-30Update mplayer from version 0.60 to 0.90pre2 (old distfile is now longerveego1-31/+33
available). Not tested with the recent gcc and binutils changes. Only one local patchfile is now needed, which fix a -Wl,-R problem and reenables the auto detect support for libmpdvdkit on NetBSD. Where libmpdvdkit is now disabled, due to the css code in that source. The MPlayer code use libdvdread so it still can read DVDs. The css code is also the reason why we have to use NO_SRC_ON_FTP. List of changes, without being complete.
