The appearance of xalarm is much better if the color resources are
properly specified and the correct resources for Xaw3d are set.
You can do this just by setting
*customization: -color
in your ~/.Xdefaults file.
Alternatively, you can put the contents of the XAlarm-color app defaults
file into your .Xdefaults file.
